Madison woke up it was a Thursday and she'd rather stay in bed. If you're in bed nobody can talk bad about you and there's no facing the fact nobody has time for you. But something made her get out of bed anyways. One leg out and she took a breath standing up and tossing the blanket in a mess onto her bed. Never bothered to make it because it was harder to get into a made bed when tired late at night.

Looking at the hair dye that had rubbed off in her sleep Madison grabbed the towel after all if she was going to wash her hair there was no reason to ruin another towel. Once out of the shower and kind of annoyed at the gone hair dye that washed out she brushed her teeth and did her hair up. Tossing the towel into a corner of the bathroom she headed out of it grabbing the clothes she was going to wear.

Some necklaces,a bit of makeup later and she was good for the day at least till she had to go outside eventually probably the moment her parents dared complain about her 'lazy' nature. Walking down the stairs she heard her parents whispering like always top secret government stuff. "Alright look love the whispering but please save it for the office." Grabbing her hot chocolate she gave a sweet smile at them heading into the room where they kept the movies and screen.

Getting absorbed by the couch she put her bare feet onto the coffee table,"Hey tv play something that isn't boring and can make me smile." The screen gave a sigh and Madison sighed back,"If you were a human or robot I bet you'd just love me." Another sigh as the screen found something and the wall lit up with images. "Thank you I'd kiss you but well ew."

Her father came into the room,"We have to get going remember the house rules oh and pack your bags for that trip we're going to be taking." She rolled her eyes and waved him out of the room while making the volume on her show go up. Feeling and hearing her parents leave the house she smiled and once the episode was over stood up.

"I'll need that show bookmarked and hey Screenie you need to learn to fight back." Madison teased and made her way upstairs packing for the trip her parents had been promising to take her on for weeks. Once all packed she ran back down the stairs screaming at the top of her lungs as gravity made her speed down them. Then proceeded to run around singing with music before winding up laying in the downstairs hallway hand in the air but the other resting on her stomach.

Then there was a knock at the door Madison groaned and crawled towards the door before opening it with some attempts to grab the knob from the floor. Once it opened she heard a,"Uh Madi what are you doing oh hey there." She stared at the shoes of her friend that was more an awkward person she knew. Probably was her distance and the kiss they shared a year ago,"Need help getting up?"

Madison stood up looking at him,"No I'm fine so Owen what brings you to the house of the freak." He looked around oh of course he'd be looking for onlookers. She laughed bitterly,"Owen go home you poser we both know everybody tends to not like a girl like me." Leaning forward she stared at the reflection in his eyes before leaning against the door frame,"I don't welcome people who said they care and then go running the minute things get unstable."

"Madi please just hear me out." She sighed listening,"Look we're just being teenagers and I know it was stupid what I did but can we please talk because you look like you need somebody and I miss being there for you." Owen's bottom lip trembled a bit,"I need to know you're okay." Madison gave him a brief, cold sort of hug.

"I'm fine though the act was well played they should cast you in a show your lying face on the screens." Madison shut the door and then kicked it before sliding against it ignoring the urge to cry tears but at the same time coughed to make sure her lungs were still breathing. Taking a breath that felt like it burned she saw an envelope slid under the door she let it sit there and went to check on her makeup.

Later that night Madison slipped the envelope into her bags then was sitting on the counter eating a bowl of her favorite cereal. That's when her parents came in the door and she ran up hugging the two of them,"So when we leaving tomorrow please tell me it's earlier in the day because then I can have breakfast on the go and it'd be awesome." Her father headed off to go put some stuff away and she looked at her mother for an answer.

"You're being picked up in the morning we can't come something happened at work they need us." Madison huffed but nodded and then they all had dinner she pushed her food around took 30 minutes before just heading into the room with the screen and watching something to ignore them. Eventually her parents went to bed and she brought her luggage downstairs before drifting off on the couch.
