Chapter 19 : Off To The Battleground We Go

First of all - if you even bother reading this - I'am TERRIBLY sorry for my negligence in this story. I'll be honest and say I've lost motivation in writing this. I'm just a fan like any of you are and I honestly and truthfully did not expect a lot of people to read or like this. As a fellow reader I know the feeling of reading a cliffhanging story. The annoyance that you felt when you found a great story just to find out it's not going to be finished. I have absolutely no excuse for what I did to you and I'm very sorry that is all I can say. I didn't even realize it's been SO LONG since I started making this story. I've been ignoring all of your responses and messages to me because I'm afraid of facing this problem of mine. I'm not even gonna deny it. But I'm being honest when I say I did not get any notifications of anything being written on my message board. I wonder if it only notifies you when you're active in wattpad? But it's only now (today when I wrote this) did I check my message board and saw lots and I mean LOTS of people writing on it asking me to update. I'm so sorry I let you down. I'm so sorry I let you all feel heavy disappointment and annoyance in me. I was still very naive back then I wasn't aware of anything else but myself and the little world I live in. I wasn't prepared. Now, I want to make things right. I can't think of any other way to repent to you all other than updating a new chapter. Please I beg you do accept my apology *bows*.

LOCATION : GARGANTA

Everyone is running along Hikari's spiritually made road in silence. They had long asked Ichigo to stop trying to make a road, he'd kill them sooner or later. Every single one focused on the battle that they will face once they got out of this black empty space. Unohana then spoke up gaining everyone's attention.

"Ichigo?" Ichigo looked at Unohana over his shoulder in response. "I have been meaning to ask you something. I heard that you had encountered Sosuke Aizen once before at Sokyoku Hill is that correct?"

"You heard right. What about it?"

"...What did you think?" Unohana asked.

"There's only one thing to think. The guy had monstrous strength." Ichigo answered remembering his one sided encounter with the former Gotei 13 Captain he was even using his Bankai at the time. Ichigo gritted his teeth at the memory. "I was completely helpless. He didn't even use his Shikai. It was a one sided encounter."

Uhohana narrowed her eyes, sensing hope sparking within herself, "Wait a minute, are you absolutely sure he didn't use his Shikai when he was fighting you?"

Ichigo nodded, "Yeah."

"That's very good." Unohana regarded him.

"Huh?" Ichigo and the others who have been listening asked in confusion.

"The fact that you seem so weak he didn't need to use his Shikai is now actually your greatest advantage." Unohana said once again confusing everyone there. But they're seasoned fighters so they stayed quiet wanting to hear the next story to this and not long after Unohana did continue her explanation. She explained how Ichigo is probably the only person in the world strong enough to fight and defeat Aizen. It has to do with the fact that Ichigo has never seen Aizen's Shikai. Unohana explained the powers of Aizen's Zanpakuto, Kyoka Suigetsu. The power of perfect hipnosis, a hipnosis that controls all 5 senses. In order to activate it a person only needs to see his Shikai just once and said person will fall for his hipnosis without a doubt.

"Anyone who sees it just once?!" Ichigo asked.

Unohana nodded, "That's right. All of us who made up the Gotei 13, Kisuke Urahara's people with whom you are acquainted in the World of The Living, and even Sosuke Aizen's subordinates, The Arrancars and The Espadas. Everyone who is even remotely involved in the battles in the World of The Living has seen Aizen's Shikai." Unohana narrowed her eyes, "Everyone. That is, except for you, Ichigo. You possess a spiritual pressure equal to a Captain and you haven't seen Aizen's Shikai."
