Called out

"I just don't know what happened with your marks within this month. (Y/N), it's even worse than usual." Your teacher babbled on, looking at you with a disappointed look.

This is the first time you ever got held after class. You tried to look as comfortable and relaxed as possible, but on the inside, you were stressing. "Your marks are far below average, I have no choice but to either keep you after school for extra lessons or to get a student to tutor you." You just nodded, biting your lip. "Which one would you prefer?"

You definitely don't want to spend an extra few hours after school with a teacher  in an uncomfortable classroom. You would also easily lose interest. So, even though you aren't very well acquainted with your classmates, you would rather have one of them teach you. You are a bit shy and do not talk much, but your classmates would be kind enough to help you.

Hopefully.

"Sir, I think I would prefer a student tutoring me, then I wouldn't have to waste your time as well." You tried to say charismatically and laughed. You cringed at yourself.

"Fine with me, I'll see who best fits the time. On which days are you open?"

"I'm only busy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you know, lessons and stuff."

"Alright, thank you, (Y/N). I will let you know tomorrow. You may leave." He smiled and looked down to continued marking tests.

"Thank you, sir." You walked out calmly and smoothly, but as soon as you closed the classroom door behind you, you let out a quiet groan. It has always been a bad habit for you to leave studying to the last minute and now your marks are bad and now you need a tutor.

You start walking tiredly through the purple hallways. The silence was pleasing to you, until you hear shoes squeaking rapidly against the floor.

"NO RUNNING IN THE HALLWAYS!" An energetic and loud voice yells down the halls. The squeaking stops and then starts against later, but softer and slower, followed by soft giggles.

Poor guy, maybe he was late for something.

Tch. Hall monitors are unfair.
