Camp Love

chapter 1

when we got to the mall, we immediately went to forever 21 where I searched for sexy outfits for tonight but I just couldn't find the right one. We left the shop and went to another but I still couldn't find the right dress. After visiting five shops we decided to go have lunch at a nearby cafe.

We walked into the cafe and sat down at a booth at the far end of the cafe. A waitress came to take our order and I ordered a black coffee with a burger while Kylie ordered an iced tea. After taking our orders, Kylie decided to ask me what type of dress I want.

“ yo girl, we've been to five shops already and you still haven't decided”

“seriously my legs are killing me ” she lamented.

“ I'm sorry Kylie. I just want a special for tonight ” I said.

“ well you better –” Kylie stopped talking suddenly and her eyes went wide as saucers.

“ hey isn't that Davis ”?

I turned back surprised as she said that and it was indeed Davis but he wasn't alone. There was a beautiful blonde haired woman with him in a sexy white dress. My eyes also went wide like Kylie's.

I soon felt my eyes getting wet and I felt hurt.

“ what is he doing here” Kylie whispered to me.

“ I thought he was out of town and will return this evening ”

“ That's what I thought too” I whispered back.

I was deeply hurt and my throat burned. I decided to call him to confirm he was here.

I brought out my phone while looking at their table and dialled his number. The phone rang for some time before he picked up.
“ hello ”
“ Hi Davis ”
“ Amy, now is not the right time”
“ I'm kinda busy right now. ”
“ Oh, I'm sorry. I just wanted to know where you are at the moment ”
“ I told you i'm out of town on a business trip. I'll call you when I get back tonight. ” With that he hung up.

By now the tears were already spilling out of my eyes. I looked at them one more time and saw them kissing. Kylie was looking at me with sympathy.

I suddenly felt a burst of anger and I stood up and went to their table.

Davis was surprised to see me but he quickly schooled his surprise and put on a blank look.

I heard his date asking him who I was and he said he didn't know me.

“ she's probably just a waitress who wants a tip”

I felt like I'd been slapped a million times when he said that. I called Kylie and ran out of the store.
