Black, white, grey, those are what tints her world everyday. A mutation occurred to almost half of the worlds population. A problem with the eyes, something with the iris. Slowly the colors of the world faded. Only to be replaced by blacks, greys, whites. The Niors simply forgot about color. As generations past, they assumed to be the superior race. No longer have the distraction of pigments.

The Pallets however, they're iris's became more advanced. They saw more developed colors. Now having a greater love of nature, auras, and spirits. They're loved and praised by the people. Seeing so much beauty in the world around them.

However the two never saw eye to eye. The Niors tried to assume power, by bullying the Pallets with their advanced technology, yet the Pallets didn't give up. The Pallets tried converting the Noirs to there way of thinking, their version of religion. Both were at fault, soon they snapped. Destruction after years of war. Finally an agreement was made. No coexistence, they divide the cities/towns/counties, in half. The segregation of the world.

Born to the Noir side was a beautiful petite 5"2 foot girl, her name was Kuroh, with skin like a polished pearl, and long/lush black hair that cascaded from her scalp. On the same day/same time, was a boy born to the Pallet side. He grew into a handsome 6'6 tall boy named Arcoiries. Arco for short. Bright red hair, and skin that resembled Arabian sand. However there was something wrong. Kuroh was born with colored eyes. Big bright green eyes. Yet she still only saw in black and white. Arco however was born with dull silver eyes. Yet he could see colors. Their worlds would collided and an impact would be made on that day. The day shadows met rainbows.

Kuroh got out of class late as usual. Being reminded of the academic tests, as well as excelled college programs. She walked through town. "I need to clear my mind. Too much to prepare for in the future. Sometimes I wish the pressure would go away; yet the reality is that, my life is set in stone. Just like a novel, once it's written the characters can't change the story," she mumbled clutching the buttons on her jacket to keep them closed. She looked at the cloudy sky and sighed. "It's like even the sun has the same attitude as everyone here. Noirs are suppose to be superior, but why did we kill our kindness, and compassion....when we killed color," she continued walking. She pasted by the busy shop windows, the cabs honking in traffic, and the feeling of being more robot than human starting to sink in. "Hey Satan," a child snickered as she felt a pain strike her cheek. The child ran before the rock, he threw, hit the ground. "Damn it," she mumbled as she touched her cheek.

(Flashback)

"Hey is that Kuroh Negativa from class AB?" Whispered a girl. "Yeah she's known as the demon from hell," her friend snickered. "Why," she asked. "Hey Negativa," yelled her friend and Kuroh turned to look at them. "Oh my god her eyes! She is Satan!!!!"the girl screamed "yep the demon with the red eyes," her friend said before she grabbed the girl's hand and lead her away.

(End of flashback)

"The demon with the red eyes," she whispered to herself. She took a different route, usually she'd head straight home. Today she walked till the sidewalks ended. "Young lady," she stopped. She turned and saw a police officer. "Yes sir?" She replied. "Oh my apologies Ms. Negativa, I didn't realize if was you. Please don't tell your father," he said quickly as he knelt before her. "My father won't know. Now what were you going to tell me," she asked. "Well you're getting close to the city limits. As you are well aware, it's forbidden land out there. Those Pallets try to sneak into our land by cutting through that stupid lake. All we can do is build our defense on the other side," he sighed. "Lake? What's so special about it. Can't we just build a wall through it. Drain that waste of space," she asked boringly. "Can't it's sacred ground to those idiots. Something about bring prayers to life," he rolled his eyes. "Prayers to life," she asked. "Yeah, now run along home," he said sternly. "Yes sir," she replied as she turned and walked away. She looked at her reflection in the shop window. "A lake that brings prayer to life.... could it be real," she mumbled before turning to continue to walk. She then decided to sneak into this lake, she walked through the wooded areas knowing where the troops were stationed. Thanks to her father being the right hand to the lord of their land.
