Hi...my name is Annie Fitzgerald.

I'm 10 years old & I'm in the 5th grade

Owww mommy! My back is hurting really bad!" said Annie.

Here sweety..let me take a look." said her mom.

She gasped at what seemed to be a blue bruise across Annie's back. She thought about what could have possibly happened, but she couldn't figure out how the bruise could have appeared.

Mr. Fitzgerald walked in at just the correct time.

We need to get Annie to the hospital pronto. She's been complaining about her back wayyyyy to long & I see a bruise. I'm not sure what could have caused this!" said Mrs. Fitzgerald

No..no worries honey. She might have just fallen on something. No need to be alarmed!" said Mr.Fitzgerald calmly.

--later that night when Annie is resting--

Amelia: *Thinks: I should go check on Annie..*

She tiptoes across the hall into Annie's room.......only to see her on the ground throwing up blood & shedding a couple of tears.

Amelia: ANNIE!!! MOM! DAD!

Mr. & Mrs. Fitzgerald rushed upstairs as fast as they could..only to find their daughter suffering from bloody throw up.

Mr. Fitzgerald: I'll dial 911..get her up & clean her...now!

He dialed 911 as fast as his fingers could dial.

Operator: 911 this is your operator speaking..what is the problem?

Mr. Fitzgerald: my 10 year old daughter Annie Fitzgerald is throwing up blood & there's a huge bruise on her back. We need help now!

Operator: ok..address?

He then gave her the address and she assured him that they would be there as fast as they could!

The paramedics arrived 2 minutes later.

Parametric: one..two..three!

They lifted her up on a stretcher and rolled her out .. Parents & sister following behind to board the ambulance.
