Three hours earlier
              Alice's P.O.V.

I walked out of the coffee shop that I worked at and started my walk home. I heard Rey turn his car on in the parking lot and I turned to wave goodbye. His car sat solemnly in the back and I shrugged. Must've been a customer leaving late.

I re-situated my bag on my shoulder and kept walking. I heard the car come and drive up next to me. I walked a little faster when I realized that it had been moving at the same pace as me. The car sped up. I slowed to a stop and as did the car. I looked over into the darkly tinted windows and saw my own reflection. I looked terrified. Then, leaving me to cough up the fumes, the car sped off.

I hurried to my house and slammed the door behind me. I shook my head. What the hell Alice! Calm the heck down. It was just a coincidence. Chill.  I slowly walked to my bedroom and belly flopped onto my bed. I turned my head and noticed the time. Shit!  I can't get ready in an hour!  I ran to the bathroom, stripping myself of my work clothes on the way, and turned the shower knob, not waiting for the water to heat up before jumping in.

"Cold, cold, cold, cold!" I muttered and quickly washed up. Running into my closet, I grabbed my good pair of jeans, a light purple top, and a pair of flats, before running to my vanity to blow dry my hair. I checked the time. Aha! That's a new record, I thought as I ran a mascara brush through my lashes. I grabbed my phone, lip gloss, and pepper spray (for emergency use) and shoved it into my tiny clutch. How the heck to people use these things on a regular basis? Sheesh. Quickly shooting Janice a text, I hopped into the car and headed towards the bar.

Walking in, I quickly spotted my friends in a corner booth.

"Alice!" My friend Shay slurred as I walked up. She leaned in for a hug and just about fell out of her seat.

"Whoa there Shay. Let's keep the falling to a minimum tonight, yeah?" I asked and she nodded before sitting back down. I wished Janice a Happy Birthday and walked over to the bar.

"Gin and tonic" I told the bartender and he nodded, grabbing a glass from the shelf. As I waited, I looked around and observed some of the people that were here. A couple of men standing alone caught my eye, but nobody in particular held my attention. This was going to be a pretty boring night.

"One gin and tonic, for the beautiful woman in the purple," the bartender said and I blushed before sliding money across the counter. He nodded once and went to check out the shouts from the other side of the bar. I downed my drink and walked to the dance floor. Let's do this.

After about 30 minutes of dancing, I limped over to the table where Shay was at.

"Where is everyone?" I asked and she shrugged.

"Probably out dancing. You know Janice," she muttered and I nodded. I needed to let Jan know that I was leaving. Making my way to the dance floor again, I noticed a tall man with curly hair watching me from the bar. I shrugged it off and walked around, trying to catch sight of any of my friends. There he is again, I thought as I looked to my left. The man, still watching. Strange. I met his eyes, and I stood frozen, too scared to move. He slowly moved towards me and I backed up, keeping our eyes locked. There was no way that I was letting him out of my sight. He was getting closer.

I shuttered as his hands met my hips.

"No need to be afraid baby," he whispered hotly into my ear. "I won't hurt you."

This can't be happening. Not now, not ever. He pulled me towards him as I tried to move away.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked and I whimpered. I hated being weak, but I couldn't help it. In the corner of the club, with a strange man who had taken interest me, I was terrified. I had no idea where Janice was. We had let loose. I wish I had stayed close. I shuttered again as he nudged my head to the side with his nose and dug his face into my neck. He licked and sucked my neck as my head fell back on instinct. He chuckled into my throat and I was quick to snap it back up. He nipped and kissed and I knew there was going to be a mark to explain. I bit my lip to contain the moan that I knew was going to slip out. He looked up at me with his piercing jade colored eyes.

"Babe, lets go somewhere more..." he paused trying to find a word. "Private." He finally said and I shook my head hard. He leaned closer.

"Is my little kitten afraid?" He asked and I tilted my head to the side. Kitten? What's up with the pet names? I asked myself and didn't realize that I had already been dragged halfway to the door. I planted my feet and he turned quickly.

"Fine kitten. Have it your way," he said and I almost sighed in relief until I heard his next words. "But know that I know where you live... and they always come back to me".
