Dad? Dad Is That You?

He Doesn't Need to Know

Raja, Alonna and Kyle went to church and they had a good time when church was over Kyle drove everyone back home and he dropped them off and went to work to check some numbers for the meeting on Monday morning.

Raja and Alonna walked in the house. Raja told Alonna "Go get changed we are going out." And Raja checked her cell and she saw the address and she went upstairs and changed.

Alonna went and changed into black ripped pants and a red plaid shirt with black combat boots and she went downstairs to wait on her mom. Raja got dressed in military green dress that came down to her knees and white vans with her white watch and MK purse.

They both left in Raja 2016 black Ranger Rover and they head to the mall. They both went in there and they went to rue 21, forever 21, fashion to figure, all of their favorite places to shop.

They went to the food court and went to get a cheese steak sub and fries and chicken tenders and fries with a pepsi and mountain dew.

Raja started to have a headache out of this world, an she started to fill like throwing up but it just so happen that Mr. Anton was walking by. Raja stood up but before she walked two steps she fainted.

Alonna POV

I got up as soon as I saw my mom fall I tried to shake her for whatever reason I don't know why. But Anton came over I was confused. He told me. "Get your phone and call 911." But I got my cell called an asked for an ambulance and then I called my dad.

When the ambulance got there they told me I couldn't ride with then to the hospital but Anton volunteered to take me. So when we got there they started to run test and I waited where my mom room was but Anton wouldn't leave my side.

I couldn't keep focus "How do you know my mom?" He looked at me and said "You should talk to your mother." Then my dad walked in I stood up and hugged him and when he saw Anton I promise you I thought they were gonna fight again.

My dad said What are you doing here? Anton said I was just leaving I didn't want to leave Alonna alone, I wanted to stay til you came here.

My dad said thank you and they shook hands an Anton started walking away.

But then the doctor walked and and said the words I was dreading. "There is no easy way to say this. But. Ummm. Mrs. Sinclair has cancer. And at this rate is moving through her body rapidly so 4 maybe 6 weeks. All we can do is make her comfortable."

My dad said thank you. An the doctor walks out my dad turned red and cried I have never seen him cry before but I sat shown next to him an we cried together. But I couldn't but help but look at Anton he was crying. My dad walked over too him and said " If you don't have a problem would you mind leaving I have to focus on my family." Anton said "I understand."

And he left. The nurse came up too me and my dad and told us it was ok for us to go in and see her. And when we did she looked so weak, it was sad to see her like that it was crazy to imagen her in this state. Her eyes were only half open, her lips looked dry and she looked different her skin use to glow she just looked lifeless as if she had been fighting for along time but she was just tired. 

She looked at us and she tried to smile... She tried too talk "Y-uh.. Yall dont worry aboout me Im gonna get past it everything wil be fine." My dad asked her "Why didn't you tell me about this?" She said "The easy answer is that I didn't want to worry you about it." My dad said "Well wehave to give you something like chemo, pills anything i will work overtime upon overtime just tell me what i need to do for you." She said " Ky their is nothing too do.  All it is now is waiting." 

Alonna POV

And waiting is all we did. My dad took off work for a while and we waited. One day my dad finally went to work but I took off school an I stayed with her all day long. But Anton came in with flowers. He knocked on the door and said"Can I come in?" My nodded her head yes and he handed the flowers to me but my mother said "Nana can you let Anton and I talk for a little while?" I said Ok. 

And I went to the food court. I got the chicken tenders  and fries with honey mustard and a Dr.Pepper. I ate downstairs but once these teenagers started coming up too me I had too leave all they did was ask me for dumb stuff. 

I took my food upstairs and I almost walked in until I heard Anton say to my mom "Listen I am her father too and she deserves too know the truth I have missed so many years of her life.' My mom said "Who's fault is that. I gave you plenty of opprtunites to be with her, but you were too busy with your new wife and kids. So why all of a sudden you want too be in her life now?" 

Anton said "Raquel you know that is not the full story. I looked for you guys and when I had to leave for Hawaii you were not responding too message, phone calls or anything so what was I suppose to do?" I walked in "Your my dad?"

My mom's eyes got wider and she said "Nana.. Listen too me. I couldn't tell you.." I cut her off and said "Why not mama? Why should I even believe you right now?"  I walked off and Anton came after me I went down the stairs so quick he barely was able too keep up with me. But when he finally did he grabbed my arm and said "Could you slow down! Listen I know you are angry about finding this kind of stiff out on your mother's death bed but listen to me. I didn't want you too find out this way." 

"But why... Why are you just now trying to find me. Where have you been all my life?" I raised my voice but Anton stayed calm he said to me "Look do whatever you need to ask me whatever you need to ask. I am here for you. I'm not here to replace anybody I just want to be around for you."

I told him "Just give me my space." And I walked away from him he said "Take all you need." I walked away and I took my phone out I texted my friend Jeyana I told her to come pick me up and surly 15 minutes later she was there we did alot in that night. Jeyana told me some kids from school were having a party and it would cheer me up. So I just said yeah I'll go.

We went to the party and she just left me. So I went and got some soda and this dude walked up too me he was light-skinned tall thick he was sexy asf. But I didn't show it. An he just said I got something to show you he never really gave me a chance to respond and he just pulled me ad told me to follow him. But I didn't stop him.

We went into the back room and we just had good conversation. Until his friends started knocking on the door he moved me from the side of the bed too the foot of the bed and he so he took off his shirt and opened the door and he buddy gave him a blunt and he took a few puffs of it. He came back to me an said start taking your clothes off I kept saying "Your drunk get off of me. All I smelled was weed and liquor and I coudn't get his big ass off of me but these girls came in there an he got mad and basically threw them out of the room but they were arguing back and forth.

I got my cell phone and I called my dad. He answered qucikly and he said "Alonna where are you your mother, Anton and me are worried sick." I told him that "IM at this house party but this huy he wont let me leave." Anton said "Alonna where are you?" 

"Im in North Philly in Fairmount up on 3rd."  But they said that they would be there just keep fighting." The last voice I heard was Anton's before my battery went completly dead. Iwas stuck with this dude at a place where I never should have been.
