The Next Day

Veronica's P.O.V

Why does Cry look over these idiots? They don't seem like anything special. Im feeling extra judge-like today, if you couldn't tell. Those people down there just seem like idiots. If anything he should either live his own separate life from them or go down and join 'em! Its stupid, watching him dwindle like this on his past. Theres nothing stopping him from joining them, especially nothing stopping him from leaving them completely! Why is everyone so sentimental! Did "The Teller" or whatever shove some crap in his head! Why did I have to find alcohol. I bet thats why Im thinking this shit! But its all true! Ugh! Little bitches! Im such a drunk, I brought my fucking flask! Hilarious me! Note the sarcasm.

"Hey." A voice broke my thought.

"What!" I hissed.

I looked behind me, I was mortified to say the least. When did I walk here! Im not that drunk, am I!? Its pretty late so hopefully Cry nor "Teller" noticed me walk off.

"H-hey! Your the girl that saved us? Right?" They asked.

If I was sober, I would have said 'No, back off ass-hat.' But I just had to be drunk. I held out the flask to the man and asked,

"Yeah, want a sip?"

He quickly declined, and as a retracted the flask I silently cursed myself. I saw everyone else asleep, thankfully. I looked back at the man,

"You on the night shift, Mr. Security Guard?" I tapped his chest lightly, damn you, drunk me.

He laughed and covered his mouth to muffle it, "Yeah," he answered "my names Ross, nice to meet you."

He held out his hand and I took it, of course being drunk I shook his hand violently and for a bit too long.

"Nice too officially meet you, Ross!" I smiled.

"You too." He smiled back.

"Well, should I go or...?"

"If you want you can keep me company till my shift is over?" He asked.

I nodded and we spent a majority of the night talking. Drunk me was brutally honest, so things that I would normally fake-laugh at, I instead said "That wasn't funny" or "That was horrible," luckily he found me saying those things funny, too. Which made me laugh along with him. I yawned and stood up, I wobbled a bit. I drank a lot from my flask as we talked so I was more drunk that before.

"Hey, imma go back to my place~" I slurred "you cant come but maybe I'll be back sometime~ cya!"

I walked back and instantly fell asleep a few feet away from Cry and Teller. Flask still in hand. Hopefully I wont get a boat-load of questions when I wake up.
