Chapter 8-Oh No.

Lizzie's POV:

???-Hi. This is Joel's mom.

Lizzie-Oh. Um hi, mom, I guess.

Joel's Mom-Listen carefully. I have heard all about what happened with Joel. And I know I love you and all, but my son is more important to me. So I think that you should leave him alone. It's either that, or I will have to deal with all of that. What's your answer?

Lizzie-I-I, I don't know..

Joel's Mom-You have 10 seconds..10,

I hesitated.

Joel's Mom-9,8,7,6,5,4,3,

Should I say yes?

Joel's Mom-2, and,

Or no?

I hesitated before saying..

Lizzie-Yes, I will do it.

Joel's Mom-Good. GoodBye now. But that doesn't mean that I will not follow you around.....

She ended the call.

Why is my life so complicated!?

A while later.........

I was recording a MineCraft video when Joel came into my room that I record in.

Joel: "Hi! Do you want to go out today?"

I thought about what Joel's mom said.

"So I think that you should leave him alone...."

Should I listen to her?

Lizzie" 'I-Im sorry, but Im pretty busy today, so no."

Joel "Ok then.......Good luck on whatever you are doing!"

He waved goodbye and left.

*Sighs*

Well, that was my first time rejecting him....

I filled my thoughts in guilt as I continued recording.

After finishing off the video......

"And thats all for today now! Please 'Boop' the like button and I will see you next time! Bye!"

I finished recording and then soon got a call from Joel's mom.

Oh great.

I bet she's going to ask me how its going...

I answered the call and it was just as I had predicted.

Joel's mom: "Hi. This is Joel's mom. I see that you have followed my directions and avoided Joel. Good work. Keep it up!"

I looked around to see how in the world Joel's mom, a.k.a. Julia, was able to know that I had rejected him.

No one was in sight.

How was she able to do that!?

Anyways, the call suddenly ended.

Why is Julia being so creepy!?

Its just her son!

Well, I guess I would care to if I had a baby, even.

I picked up my phone again to see a bunch of texts from Joel.

Why didnt he just go and talk to me!?

Joel-Maybe you are still recording, I'll text ya later then!

Joel-Bye..I guess?

Joel-Hello? Are you there?

Joel-Its been 30 minutes already!

I went to Joel's room and found him gone.

Oh well. I guess he left and I didnt hear him..
