Word's, that's all these are. And, in these words I bet you've already formulated 'me' a character of some kind in your brain, for example, you've given me a voice of some kind, and of course a gender. Doesn't matter the voice or the gender of which you choose as it won't affect our story as such. Now you may ask, "But what if I'm wrong with the character? What if that character sounded different in the writers mind? What if he was Scottish?" To which I would reply to you 'the reader' if I wanted to be Sottish I'd just speak like this...Aye, Aam talkin' scottish noo see, jist fur th' sake ay it ...See, I made you change my character into a Scottsman. Which leads you to pose the question to yourself...Are you really in control of this story?
The answer is of course...No your not, this is an entirely different story you have on your hands here, a story where I...The Narrator make and break all the rules in your silly little heads. Is this a comedy? Is it a horror? Who knows! Just put on your best dressing gown, put your feet up and well...Read I guess? What do I call you people anyway? Readie? Readums? Bugger it, from now on I'll just title you all as 'Readers' got it? Good! I find it utterly hilarious that you genuinely think your reading "just a book". True there's a story but as you might have already guessed and as I've said many times before; I AM IN CONTROL!
Anyway, rewinding slightly, I am The Narrator and for the purpose of what will occur that's who I shall remain to be, even though the title of this "book" says otherwise! I am your eyes and ears into the very last detail...Or at least the details I chose for you to read about. I can manipulate the story in ways you cannot comprehend. I am your God in this "book" Reader and that's final...Now we're going to jump straight into the story.
