Once upon a time there was a boy who lived in a little farm by the edge of the cliff. His name was Billy. Young Billy was so sad that the wolves were picking on him that he stood at the edge of the cliff and threw himself off into the rocks bellow. The End.
...What? What're you just staring at? It's over! The story is finished. Done! Over! Poof! That not good enough for I suppose? You expected Billy to somehow save the day and you'd all learn some vital lesson of life that you'd pass down to your children? I'm just a Narrator I follow a strict path down a story that has already been written. Well, I did. Now I have complete control over what stories you read. The thing is though; stories today are dreadful don't you think? Of course you do, you don't have a choice in what you say since I can't hear you. I want something to feel fresh again! So here's my proposal to you, we'll go on a journey together to find the best story ever invented...Ever? But it'll be one I have designed and you follow. So I guess that makes you Reader...A narrator of sorts. But not like me because your reading what I design...This is all very confusing!
Point being I will set up amazing stories that have never ever been told before and you'll like them! Sound good? Of course it does! Now...Where do I start? Let me just reel off some original ideas here; sort out my thought process a bit!
Oh! How about Victorian London, Easter, there's a man called...Scroode and he hates Easter and takes it out on other people, he gets visited by ghosts and show him his past, present and future? Too cliché maybe?
How about this then; a girl called Alyson falls down a badger hole and ends up in a different dimension called...Wanderingland? Nah that doesn't make much sense come to think of it.
OH! I've got it! Fantasy trilogy with one ring which rules all of them and these very small people join together to throw it into a fire pit to destroy it?
Come on are you not impressed? These are all original ideas I've come up with there and you don't pick one of them?! Right I'll tell you what we'll do! I'll go through a few stories and we'll stop when I get to the perfect one? Ok? Good! Right, we'll start off with...Hmm...Oh you'll love this one! Been buzzing around my head for ages! Are you ready?
