I wake up with Katy jumping all around the room, excited for some reason.

I rub my eyes and mumble.
"What the crap are you doing Katy? It's too early to dance around like you have to pee."

She laughs and jumps into the bed.

"Link wants you to go to dinner with him to talk about something and I think I know what it is about! He wants to ask if you care that we date!"

"Yeah. I'm sure that's it. Keep dreaming little one" I tease with a chuckle.

"Come on negative nancy. Just do it."

"Yeah yeah whatever but just let me sleep for Christ sake"

She covers me up and teasingly kisses my forehead "good night my little princess"

"Oh shut up and leave me alone you loser." I laugh and cover my face with a pillow.

Before I know it I am back asleep.
