Getting date nerves

A week after they kissed and became official at that panel, Jensen asked Jay to go on their first date together. For the first time since he was a teen Jared was nervous about a date, he even shaved for it! which he would normally only do if he was working on set. He got ready into a pair of dark wash jeans, one of his campaign shirts and finished it off by putting a black blazer over the top. Where as Jensen was feeling pretty confident about the date with his newly boyfriend, and had the whole night planned in his head. Jensen was currently getting ready and had a pair of blue denim washed jeans lying on his hotel room bed, considering they where now in San Diego they had hotel rooms. He had also decided on wearing a black button down shirt - which Jared had picked out for him - and a grey blazer over it, with a pair of worn out brown dress shoes. Tonight was going to be a good night.

 Walking down the lobby towards Jared's room, with a single pink rose in hand for the younger but taller man, he started to get nervous but in the best way possible. He took a deep breath upon approaching his destination and knocked on the door three times before staring at his shoes, the rose behind his back, so when he looked up next his words were gone, for the man standing opposite him had took his breath away. Jensen knew Jared was hot with and without a beard, he knew how good he looked in a suit, but right now it felt like the first time he'd ever laid eyes on the man, because this time Jared had done all of this for him, and thought of that made his heart melt. "Hey...come on in" Jared nervously muttered, rubbing the back of his neck. Now was the time Jensen was going to see that adorable blush on Jared's cheeks, now was the time Jared gets to see the softer more cheesy side of Jensen. "This is for you and you look amazing by the way, i hope you know CPR because you literally just took my breathe away" Jared started blushing and smiling like an adorable teenager in their first relationship, he took the rose of Jensen and popped it into his top pocket on his blazer. "You're not looking too bad yourself, and why'd you pick the pink one?" Jared asked, curiosity rising in his body, there was so much Jensen didn't know about Jared and that made him nervous about their future but it also excited. "Because I know pink is one of your favorite colors" Jensen replied as if Jared had asked a stupid question to begin with. Maybe at dinner Jared would subtly ask a few questions on a certain topic and see what Jensen thought. Hopefully he didn't mind it or he liked it. Jared hoped it was the latter.
