Chapter 1

Perrie's POV

I walked off stage with my head down. I was so devastated. I didn't get through. Well, I suppose I could try again next year.

I was talking with some of the other contestants who also hadn't got through. When I heard a voice shout:

"Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh Anne Pinnock. The judges have asked me to fetch you."

I had no idea what was happening. And as I walked on stage with the three other girls I could see that they looked as confused as I did.

Kelly Rowland said:

"Do you think you girls could work together?"

We all looked at each other and said all at the same time:

"Yeah."

Kelly Rowland screamed:

"Yaaaaay!!"

Tulisa shouted:

"You're through to Judges Houses!"

We ran off stage in excitement and glee and had a group hug. We were jumping with joy. We were gonna go through to Judges Houses. We couldn't be more happy.

Now it was time to see who our mentor was. All four of us really wanted Tulisa. Everyone was listening hard. We heard footsteps approach the room and as the door opened Tulisa walked in. Everybody was jumping up and down including her. We could see that she wanted the groups just as much as we wanted her as our mentor.

Tulisa threw her arms in the air and shouted:

"Are you ready??"

We all shouted back:

"Yes!"

She shouted again:

"Is the winner of The X Factor in this room??"

We all shouted back again:

"Yes!"

Jade's POV

We went to Tulisa's house in Greece. We were so nervous. This was gonna be the first time we performed in front of Tulisa. She hadn't heard us sing as a group yet.

Tulisa said to all of us groups:

"I've enlisted the help of...Jessie J!

Everybody screamed and we were all flapping our arms about we were so ecstatic. The first time we were gonna be performing as a group was in front of Tulisa and Jessie J. We couldn't believe it!

As we walked up to them to perform, I started shaking. It was so nerve racking. But we just had to give it our all.

Tulisa said:

"Hello girls. How are you feeling?"

We replied:

"Excited and a little bit nervous."

Jessie J said:

"Well then take it away girls."

As I started singing I could feel Tulisa and Jessie's eyes on me. I didn't dare look up. Then Perrie sang her bit and then we all started singing. Leigh Anne did her rap with Jesy beat boxing. At the end Jesy started crying and so did Leigh Anne.

Tulisa and Jessie said together:

"Thank you girls." And we walked off.

Afterwards when we were talking to Dermot Jesy was still crying and said:

"I messed up at the end. We're definitely not gonna make it through."

"No you didn't. You were amazing. That's why you made me cry too." Leigh Anne replied.
