Little Mix's X Factor Story

Chapter 5

Jesy's POV

It's unreal that we had got through yet another week. Every week we told ourselves: "We're goin home." And it was crazy that we were through to week four. Woohoo!

It just feels amazing to get so much support from girls, teenagers and young girls. We're not perfect, that's why girls do like us.

This week was quite hard for me because some people have been putting nasty comments online. And when they post it on websites for everyone to see..it just makes you feel really rubbish.

Being in a girl group, ya know with three beautiful girls. They're a lot smaller and slimmer than me, and obviously I know I'm a lot bigger.

"They can say what they want. You're one of the prettiest and nicest people I've ever met." Jade encouraged, trying to cheer me up. She always knew how to.

This week, we've also had to change our name because of a charity called Rhythmix.

"The name we pick, is the name we're gonna be stuck with forever," Perrie said. Omg I love her accent.

Oh my gosh it's so hard to pick a new name.

"It has to be something mix," Perrie continued.

After hours of trying to find a new name, we finally came up with.......LITTLE MIX!!!

On top of all that drama, we obviously had to rehearse too. This week is Halloween week and we needed to try our hardest and of course we always do.

We were really buzzing with energy because we were so excited. And then Dermot shouted our name and our little video played.

I cringe when I see myself crying. Oh dear this is quite embarrassing. Oh well.

When the video finishes, the music starts and we all start singing. It's incredible.

We sing E.T. and it feels amazing to be performing in front of millions of people once again. I wish we could do this as a career. That would just be awesome. But right now I needed to focus on singing the best I can so we can get through again. When we finish the song, the crowd scream until they lose their voices (well it sounds like it anyway). Oh my gosh.

Jade's POV

Wow. Now that was something. Time for the comments.

"You may have a new name, but you're the nicest girls we've ever had on the X Factor. And Jesy, don't listen to those negative comments about you cause people are just jealous of you cause you're talented and you're on the X Factor. I love this band, Tulisa well done!" Louis shouted in his Irish accent.

"You are a talented bunch of girls. The harmonies were on point. There is a space for you in this big, big old market here. You guys, you up the levels for groups right now. I don't think you realise your potential here. Potential potential potential, bubusnutjajiri....wicked." Alexandra stutters.

"Girls, Tulisa, well done. Great song choice. I also felt that as well as the production tonight, I could hear you all sing, really really good. And Louis, I think you could answer this, I think that this year, I couldn't pick a winner this year. I couldn't even pick the top three this year. This competition is wide open this year for anyone to take." Gary said.

Louis shouted: "These girls are out of this world!"

"Girls, can I just say that I am so so proud of you this week. You have done so well. And Jesy, it takes a lot of courage to speak up about your insecurities so I'm proud of you to tell your story because it means that there are people out there who can relate to you and that are going through what you went through." Jesy looked at me with an emotional face and I squeezed her hard. Tulisa continued, "The performance was amazing. Well done. You did something different, something that's never been done before." Tulisa shouted.

The crowd roared. Wow. Again, we had received the best comments. Oh my gosh. It just felt amazing. We couldn't believe it.

Now that we had got the performance over with, we had to wait until the next day to find out if we performed well enough to get through.

We practised the song we would do if we went in the bottom two as much as we could. On the morning of the results show, Leigh Anne, Jesy and I were all getting ready while Perrie was still asleep.

"Come on Pezzie, you have to get up now," Jesy said into Perrie's ear.

"Nooooooooooooooooo!" Perrie whined.

"We've got to rehearse cause if we get into the bottom two then we're pretty much screwed. So we need to practise in case we end up in that situation," I said as I did my mascara.

"Uuuurrrghhh!!" Perrie whined again like a sick puppy.

"Right I give up," Jesy said walking to the bathroom, "I'm going to go have a shower and if you're not up when I get out, then you'll be sorry." Jesy said the last bit in an evil voice.

"I know how to get her up," Leigh said, as if she knew everything, "Perrie, if you don't get up right now, then I'll jump on you or I'll pull a prank on you. And believe me, in that mood you will not be happy." She finished.

"Fiiiiiiinneee!" Perrie winged while slowly getting up out of bed.

"Finally." I said as I finished up my mascara.

At that moment Jesy emerged from the bathroom and said, "At last. Now let's get cracking."

Leigh Anne's POV

Later on that day, just a few minutes before the results show, we were really nervous.

"What if we don't get through," I said worryingly.

"Then we'll obviously be really upset. But we'll always be the best of friends, sisters. And we can still sing together. We just weren't lucky enough this time. But hopefully it won't happen." Perrie said in a sweet pretty voice.

"I know I know," I said.

While we were waiting for the actual result, Cher Lloyd and Nicole Scherzinger performed. They were incredible.

And finally the thing we had all been waiting for, the results.

"Please welcome back our X Factor finalists," Dermot cried. Loads of roars from the crowd.

"The first act through, and performing in next week's show, is..........Kitty!" Kitty jumped up and screamed. Come one we can do this.

Dermot continued, "Next act through is, The Risk!" The boys and Tulisa were screaming also. We congratulated them.

"The third act, and definitely safe is...Craig!" More cheers.

"The fourth act through on the public vote, is....Little Mix!"

We were jumping up and down doing that running thing we always do when we get through, I know it's weird right. And Tulisa looked just as happy as we did. We were hugging each other and both of Tulisa's acts were now through. Go team Tulisa! I

Wow that was incredible.

Hey guys. I really hope you liked this chapter. I've added in some things in that I haven't done before so I really hope you did like it.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I've been really busy. Well I've only got one more day of school until summer holidays now so I will be updating more regularly hopefully. And even when I go on holiday I will still write some when I don't have wifi.
