Jade's POV

The results show was very nerve racking. We thought we were going home. As we walked out onto the stage with Tulisa and the other groups, we were shaking so hard.

"In no particular order, the first act who is safe and is going to be performing next week...is...Marcus!" Dermot shouted.

Jesy looked at me nervously.

"I really do hope we get through." She whispered.

"Me too." I whispered back.

"The next act safe and performing in next week's show, is...Rhythmix!"

Oh yes! We were through! We jumped up and down with glee and we hugged Tulisa. We walked off stage. When we got off the stage, we screamed! We were even happier than we were when we were told that we were through to the live shows. And we didn't think that we'd ever be as happy as that.

The next morning.

We knew that we had to work even harder this week. We wanted to break the curse of the girl bands. We didn't want to be one of those girl groups that went out of the competition in week one or two. Our vocals needed to be taken up one more notch this week.

The theme this week is love and heartbreak. We don't wanna do a soppy love song, we wanna do a funky love song with a Rhythmix twist to it. This week we are singing I'm like a bird. We want to get it perfect. No messing around. We need to really focus and work hard in order to get through.

Perrie's POV

Whenever we had a spare moment, we were rehearsing. We couldn't stop. We wanted to get it even better than last week. And on the morning of the show, while we were having the dress rehearsal, we were pretty sure that we would.

The day went by pretty quickly. Eight o'clock. It was time. We were first this week. Even more pressure to open the show well.

As we were walking up to the stage, we were doing our vocal exercises. Warm up. We were ready to go. Tulisa introduced us, and we started.

It went really quickly. And before we knew it, I was singing the last tiny bit and we were done. Now for the comments. We hoped that we were gonna get good comments like last week.

"Well, girls, I'm so glad that Tulisa saved you last week. That was fun. There's great chemistry, there's great energy with these girls. You're like the fun girls next door. I think girls are gonna relate to you. Gary said you were the best girl band on the X Factor. I have to agree with him," the crowd roared, "I think this is the start of something. I think you could be the next big UK girl band. I hope people vote." Louis shouted. The crowd screamed.

"I'm so happy I chose that song for you because you absolutely smashed it. Now let me just tell people at home who don't know is what you see on stage with these girls is what you get. They are real people, real women, real girls. Girls across the UK can relate to and they're not standing up they're standing up and saying we are women, let's unite and stand strong." Tulisa said. The crowd roared even louder.

"Ladies you did such a great job tonight and I think that you should be so proud. I do think that everyone at home should vote for you cause I would love to watch you continue to grow in this competition."

We smiled at each other and the crowd screamed again.

"Girls, fresh and exciting and you know the problem with the X Factor in the past is that all the girls bands like Spice Girls or like Girls Aloud, you are totally in your own lane. Tulisa she's guiding you really well. Well done everybody." Gary said.

Oh my god. Once again we had received the best comments. We now knew that hard work does pay off because we had got even better comments than last week.
