Starting the Journey

Kiara sat on her bed.The nightmares she had the night before swooned in her mind.

Kiara walked dizzily around a dark cave,at least she thought it was a cave.Suddenly a voice came out of nowhere.
"Don't despise me child of Diana."
The voice was creepy but sweet as the same time.Kiara inched forwards to get a better look.It was a spider.
"Arachne!" Kiara screeched.
Suddenly,the spider lunged at her and ate her alive.

That was the part she woke up at.She heard someone knocking at her door.She opened it as soon as she got there to see Thalia.No other hunter was with her but a clearly stern look on her face.
"Do you know Akira?" She asked.
Kiara nodded.
"Akira has a friend named Levi,son of Hestia." She started."I need you to go with Conner,Maple,Liam,and Akira to his place in Arizona."
"Why?" Kiara asked,puzzled.
Thalia cursed in Greek.
"Because,Chiron wants you to gather the children of prophecy."
"You will go at sunset." She said not letting Kiara speak.
"I wish you good luck." Thalia said before running off.
As she watched the hunter run off,she had one question:
"Would Akira know Levi when she sees him?"
Kiara decided to pack her things,right away.She closed the door.She looked for her bow and arrows set,her mom had gotten her.Once she found it she packed some clothes,a water bottle,some snacks,and her special customized whistle,that let her shape shift and talk to any sacred animal her mother had.Then she headed out.She stepped outside to find it was raining.
"Here,have this." A voice said.
Kiara turned her head,left to find,Liam handing her a raincoat.She took it with a smile,and saw Maple and Akira dressed in Ponchos.Behind them was Conner,fiddling with some knitting sticks.They all brought along suitcases full of stuff.
"I can't wait to see Vivi,again!" Akira squealed.
"Do we have to eat,before we leave?" Maple asked,grabbing Akira's hand.
"No.Unless we're hungry." Conner mumbled looking up from his sticks and putting them away.
No one was hungry,but only Kiara and Maple brought snacks just in case.Soon enough they were ready to go.Chiron greeted them at the front entrance at Camp Half-Blood.He smiled as they approached.
"I wish you good luck on your journey ,may you return safely." He said,leading them out the barrier.
Soon,they were out of the woods.
"So how do we get to Arizona?" Conner asked.
Liam shrugged."I have a way,but you won't like it."
Everyone else traded confused glances.Liam whistled something that sounded like the American anthem.Suddenly,a horse noise was heard and Akira looked up.
"Horse!" Akira squealed,a smile on her face,while she pointed at the darkening sky.Everyone followed her finger.
"A storm spirit!" Maple muttered,anxiously.
The storm spirit landed in a flash.Lightning struck.The horse whined.
"Too bad we don't have a Jupiter kid." Conner mumbled.
Everyone nodded in agreement with him.Liam approached the spirit,with caution.The horse nickered,and took a step a step back,but lowered himself.
"What's your name?" Liam said brushing the horse's mane."Is it Tempest?" He said,thoughtfully.
As if to nodded his head,Tempest neighed.Liam nodded as if he understood.
"That's Jason's horse,Tempest.I've heard about him from Paisley." Maple said.
Paisley was a German freckled blonde haired blue-eyed girl whose hair was in a pixie bob.She spoke both Latin and German,and was an amazing actress .She was also the Zeus Cabin counselor,after they're first counselor,Julian Castile,died from cancer.
"So we going or not?" Kiara asked,growing impatient.
Liam asked everyone to get on the chariot.Akira noticed there was no chariot.She complained about this,and Liam told her it was invisble.They then got on and flew off.
