The Beginning of the Storm

Two more years have passed. And all fun and games have ended. Iraq had waged a war on Egypt. And the time was now to fight. Khalfani had been voted in as general. Which was no suprise he had been trained from birth to fight and protect. Fanaka had learned well from his older brother and became skilled in combat. He decided to be a solider in the war. Dafani decided to sail one of the navy ships and even Heshima assisted her sister with sailing the ship. Queen Monroe was not pleased with her children's decisions. She was in constant worry for her children's lives. And she was highly concerned about her husband. This war had aged him greatly. A once black haired King had became a full grey in the matter of weeks. Ororo Monroe now seven years of age had realized that things were different. She always asked where her siblings were. Especially Heshima but the response was always the same "Away...But don't worry they'll be back soon". Even though Ororo was young she knew that their was there was a possibility that she would never see them again... And little did she know that this was nearly the beginning of what was to come....Ororo was woken up that morning by an explosion. She immediately jumped out of bed and ran to the window. King Jamba's heart began to pound out of his chest. That explosions sounded dangerously close to the palace. King Jamba's feet took off into his daughter's room. He knocked the door down and saw Ororo peeking out the window. "ORORO!!!! GET AWAY FROM THE WINDOW!!! ARE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED?!?!?" King Jamba yelled. Ororo burst into tears and ran into her father's arms. "I..I'm sorry dad I was sleeping and I heard a loud noise and I...I just wanted to see what was going on" Ororo said sadly. King Jamba held his daughter close. "Its okay my love I didn't mean to yell I just don't want you to get hurt...or worse" King Jamba said calmly. Just then Queen Kamilah came running to her daughter's room. "ORORO!!!" Queen Kamilah yelled. "Do not worry Kamilah she is fine" King Jamba said reassuringly. He picked up his daughter and pulled his wife into a hug. "Its okay...Were all going to be okay...I love you both so much and I promise that we'll win this war" King Jamba whispers soothingly. Just then a war plane crashes inside of the palace. And then another....And then another. The roof of the massive palace collapsed instantly. "ORORO-" That was the final word that was uttered out of the mouths of King Jamba Kenya Hujombo-Monroe and Queen Kamilah Monroe. Several hours passed and Ororo woke up. She hack and coughed as she dug her way out of the debris. Her face was black from the dust and the charr. And her skin was cover in cuts, scratches, bumps and brusies. She finally dug herself free and gasped for air. She then began to look for her parents. "Mom! Dad! Where are you!" She yelled as loudly as she could. Not that she could yell very loudly. She searched for a few hours and when she was ready to give up she went back to where she begun. She removed the debris from one spot she left unturned. And was she saw was nothing less than horrifying. "MOM! DAD! WAKE UP!!! WAKE UP!!!" Ororo cried for hours and hours as she laid across her parents life less bodies. Early that morning Ororo woke up and began to scream as she woke up and realized that her parents were not sleeping and that they were in fact dead. As Ororo mourned her parents she thought that she heard someone. She immediately ran downstairs to the underground chamber. She remebered what her parents had told her if she was ever alone in the castle and in danger. She was commanded to go downstairs to a special chamber that had water, food and a bed. She stayed down there for two days. She didn't eat, or drink or sleep she just cried. She could not believe that her parents were dead and that she would never see them again. Unfortunately it was a bad idea for Ororo to skip out on eating and sleeping. She became dehydrated over the past two days. That next morning she fainted from dehydration and exhaustion. Meanwhile outside of the castle two thieves are on a quest to steal as much as they could from the wealthiest palace in Africa. "Wow would look at this place Its huge!" Kaluwa exclaimed as he began to walk around the destroyed palace. "Keep your voice down you fool!" Kereenyaga whispered as he entered the palace. "So-rry Kereenyaga...I guess i'm a little excited...The boss finally let me go on a real mission" Kaluwa said happily. Kereenyaga just rolls his eyes. "Here! Take this gun and steal as much as you can I'll go that way and you go this way I will meet you back here in three hours do you understand?!" Kereenyaga commanded. "Yes sir" Kaluwa said serious. Kaluwa then loaded up his gun and grabbed his massive sack which would contain all of the stolen goods. Kaluwa remained cautious as he stole Queen Kamilah's massive jewelry collection. Everything ranging from golden rings to dimond necklace and everything in between. "Oh man! I've hit the jackpot! The boss is gonna give me a promotion after this" Kaluwa says to himself as he takes everything in sight. After cleaning house in the queen's chambers he decides to look for a secret passageway or basement. He wanted to find something over the top to bring back to his boss. As he made his way back to where he started he stumbled upon a starcase. "What's this?" Kaluwa speakes out loud. He decides to go down this staircase and he finds a safe. "Oh great" Kaluwa exclaims. He puts several different number combinations and fails everytime. He screams with fustration. He then heard someone coming quickly down the stairs. Kaluwa pulled out his gun and was ready to shoot. Kereenyaga was passing through the entrance when he heard Kaluwa screaming. He immediately followed the screams down the staircase. He had his gun ready to shoot whoever had attacked his partner. As he came down the stairs he saw Kaluwa pointing a gun at him. "HEY STEP BACK I SWEAR I'LL-Kereenyaga?" Kaluwa exclaims. Kereenyaga puts his gun down. "What is going on down here?!" Kereenyaga yelled. "I got angry...I was trying to crack this safe and I couldn't find the right combination" Kaluwa explains. Keelreenyaga picks Kaluwa by his shirt and puts him up against the wall. "THAT'S WHAT THIS WAS ABOUT?! HUH? I'M THINKING SOMEBODY CAME DOWN HERE TRYNA KILL YOU...BUT NO YOUR SCREAMING CUZ YOU CAN'T A WORTHLESS SAFE OPEN?! WHAT IF SOMEBODY ELSE WAS CRAWLING AROUND HER AND THEY HEARD YOU SCREAMING THEY WOULD COME DOWN HERE THAN BANG BANG YA DEAD!!!" "Kereenyaga I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...Please please please don't kill me!" Kaluwa begs. Kereenyaga simply drops Kaluwa and he falls to the ground. "Let me show you how to crack a safe" Kereenyaga says angrily. He takes off his bookbag and takes out two explosives. "You this on the back? Its a substance that can stick to anything...So can you tell me what i'm going to do?" Kereenyaga asks. "Uh stick them on the safe so it can explode?" Kaluwa answers with slight fear in his voice. He did not want to get manhandled by Kereenyaga again. "NO! YOU FOOL...I am going to stick the explosives on the vault door, put on the timer for one minute" Kereenyaga does this and he yells at Kaluwa once again. "GET UP! GRAB YOUR STUFF AND RUN UP THE STAIRS NOW!" Kereenyaga yells. Kaluwa scrambles to grab his things and dashes up the stairs. Kereenyaga runs up the stairs as well and waits for the explosives to go off. A minute later Kereenyaga and Kaluwa here a loud bang. "What was that Kereenyaga?" Kaluwa whispers fearfully. "That was the vault handle it just blew off and in two seconds the whole door is going to fall off its hinges" Just then there's a loud clanging sound. And just as Kereenyaga suspected. "Come on let's see what we can find" Kereenyaga says as he goes down the stairs. Kaluwa follows Kereenyaga cautiously down the stairs. "Walk around the vault door Kaluwa" Kereenyaga says as he enters the inside the vault. "What is this?" Kereenyaga says out loud as he takes a look around. Just then Kaluwa enters. "Man! What I waste there's nothing down here worth steal-" Kaluwa cuts his own self off. Kaluwa sees the body of a young girl lying on the ground. "Who is this? And what is she doing down here?!" Kaluwa begins to panick. "KEREENYAGA!!! KEREENYAGA!!! KEREENYAGA!!!" Kaluwa yells. Kereenyaga balls his hands into fists and storms over to Kaluwa. "Do you want me to kill you?!?!" Kereenyaga yells. "Kereenyaga I-I think we killed her" Kaluwa says sadly. "What are you talking about?" Kereenyaga asks. "Look right in front of you...I think she was hiding down here and when you blew the door off...she may have ya know" Kaluwa explains. Kereenyaga gets down on his knees and puts his ear to the girl's heart. "She's not dead she is just uncounious...And I have a feeling that she is one of them" Kereenyaga says. "You mean a Monroe?" Kaluwa asks. "Yes...I believe she is the last of them...We have found more than enough down here were taking back to Kenya...The boss will be more than happy to have the last heir of the Monroe dynasty" Kereenyaga says. Kaluwa seems slightly puzzled. "But she's a girl how can she benfit the boss?" Kaluwa asks. "Leave that to me...Grab the girl and I'll take everything else" Kereenyaga says. Kaluwa picks up the girl and carries her bridal style up the stairs and out of the palace. Kereenyaga puts the sacks of stolen goods in the back of the jet along with his bookbag. "Where do I put her?" Kaluwa asks. "Put in her in a seat and buckle her up" Kereenyaga instructs. Kaluwa does as he is told. About eight hours later Kereenyaga and Kaluwa arrive back in Kenya. "Get the girl and hurry up!" Kereenyaga says as he parks the jet. Kaluwa unbuckles the girl's seatbelt and once again carries the girl inside to the bosses mansion. "Who enters this place?" The boss says from behind his desk. Kereenyaga puts down his sacks of stolen merchandise and speaks. "It is I Kereenyaga and Kaluwa...We have returned from our palace mission and have come back with many precious metals, spices, and the final heir of the Monroe dynasty...We found her passed out in the secret underground chamber-" Kereenyaga is cut off by the boss. "You have Princess Monroe?" The boss asks as he turns around to face his runmen. "Yes sir...Right here" Kereenyaga says. Kaluwa steps foreward with Ororo in his arms. "Place her here on the desk" The boss says as he taps his hand on the desk. "Yes sir" Kaluwa says as he places Ororo on the desk. The boss gets up and examinations her. "Is she alive?" He asks. "Yes sir she is alive...I believe she has passed out due to dehydration all we need to do is get her under UV for a few hours make sure she's hydrated and feed her after that she's all yours" Kereenyaga explains. "Okay Kereenyaga do all that you have said bring her back to me once she healthy once again" The boss instructs. "Yes sir" Kereenyaga says. He then picks up Ororo and goes into the clinic. "Uh boss?" Kaluwa asks. "What is it Kaluwa?" The boss asks slightly annoyed. "Um well ya see if you'd take a look in the sacks...You'll see that the majority of the diamonds and gold was found by me and-" Kaluwa is cut off by the boss. "I will take a look when I'm ready thank you Kaluwa have a nice day-Oh and uh if Kereenyaga needs any help you will come to his aid do you understand?" The boss says. Kaluwa sighs. "Yes boss" A week passes and Princess Ororo is finally healthy. "How are you feeling Ororo?" Kereenyaga asks. "I am feeling well" Ororo answers. "Very well then you need to come with me" Kereenyaga instructs. Ororo becomes extremely confused. "Wait doctor where am I?" Ororo asks slightly panicked. Kereenyaga smirks. "First of all princess I am not a doctor and second of all you do what I say and that's it do you understand?" Kereenyaga responds. Ororo begins to fill up with fear. "I-I don't know who you are but I have to go" Ororo says as she tries to escape. Kereenyaga laughs. "Oh no your not!" Kereenyaga says as he chases Ororo. He quickly catches up to her. He scoops her up and puts a bag over her head. Ororo screams and struggles as she is being carried by this mystery man. Kereenyaga knocks on the boss's door and waits. "Who is knocking?" The boss roars from behind the door. "It is Kereenyaga...Princess Ororo is healthy again and here with me...May I enter?" Kereenyaga says. The boss unlocks all of the locks on his door and puts in his passcode just then the door opens. "You may enter" The boss simply says. Kereenyaga enters and the door slams behind him. Kereenyaga puts Ororo down and takes the bag off of her head. "WHO ARE YOU? AND-AND WHERE AM I?" Ororo asks loudly. "Do not worry my love...Nothing is going to happen to you-yet...Why don't you have a seat?" The boss says. "I don't wanna sit down!  I want to get out of here!" Ororo yells. "Alright you don't have to sit down we can do this standing...Firstly I will answer your questions...I am a theif and so he....And you are in Kenya....I believe your father was from ther if not mistaken" "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!" Ororo exclaims. "We did nothing...We simply saved you my love it is unfortunate that your family is no longer...with us but we will take care of you....If you do something for me..." "What?" Ororo asks. "You will do as I say...You will embrace the life of a theif....And you will stay here with us forever" "And what if I don't!" Ororo asks. The boss laughs. He bends down and comes face to face with Ororo. "Well...If you don't you might just join your parents" the boss whispers. Ororo's eyes fill with fear as she backs away from the boss. "So what's it gonna be princess? I don't have all day" The boss asks. Ororo holds back her tears. "I will do as you say...boss" Ororo says. "Smart choice love...Welcome to our family" The boss says as they exit the room. "I have a family...And this is not it" Ororo says to herself. Kereenyaga shows Ororo to a guest room in the mansion. "Why the long face...Your one of us now?" Kereenyaga says kindly. "I will never be one of you" Ororo says swiftly. "You say that now but...Soon you will be one of us" Kereenyaga says. A few years pass and Ororo becomes one of the best thieves in Kenya. Her intelligence mixed with her special abilties and her athleticism made her and unstoppable force in the world of theiving. One night after a very successful robbery from a top security bank Ororo celebrates with her fellow thieves. "I dedicate this toast to Ororo!" Kereenyaga shouts. "TO ORORO!!" everyone shouts. "You are finally one of us" Kereenyaga whispers in Ororo's ear. Ororo smiles and whispers back "Yes, yes I am........
