Carter dropped me off at Rosalie's and I was standing right in front of her door. I knocked 3 times, and Rosalie showed up to open the door. "Oh my G-d Nikki!" She immediately wrapped her arms around me tightly and hugged me for a while.
"Nikki thank G-d you're alive". "of course I'm alive, Rose. why the hell would I be dead?" she looked at me with concern and said, "I was just really worried about you. I mean, the dude slapped you and I wasn't expecting that. Who the hell is he anyways?" "do you mind if I come in and explain?" She opened the door wider for me to come in, and closed it behind us.
We went upstairs to her room, shut the door, and say on her bed. "Okay spill Nikki". That was when I told her everything. From when I wanted to die, to Austin "kidnapping" me and having sex, till today. She just sat there staring at me with her mouth wide open listening attentively. "Damn Nikki it's like you told me a TV drama show". "Gee thanks for your concern", I said in a sarcastic tone.
"Oh my G-d. I can't believe he could make you feel so miserable, and love you when he wants. He sounds dangerous, you need to stay away from him". "He's the one who looks for me. I can't brush him away that easily. It's not that easy Rose. and, I feel like I need him in my life".
He's like something I thought I didn't need, and now I have him. He can sometimes be a pain in the ass, but I really loved him. I know it sounds retarded since it's only been one night, but he's become an important part of my life.
"If that's how you feel, then I'll support you Nikki. I'll always be there for you". She wrapped her arm around me and pulled me in for a warm hug. This is why I loved Rosalie. We've been best friends since birth and she was always there for me in every situation. We told each other everything and I wouldn't dare to keep anything from her.
I looked down at my watch and saw that it was already 6:45. "Oh crap I have to go home. My dad is showing up tonight at 7:00". "I'll walk you home Nikki".

I gave arise a goodbye hug and walked inside my house. I'm glad I had Rose by my side during these times, since that were pretty conflicting for me. I loved Austin and I wanted to stay with him, but I was afraid that my father would find out. It was going to be pretty hard to keep this from a cop, but I was determined to do so.
