Chapter 12

"Happy birthday Nicole! Here's your present." I rubbed my eyes and said "thanks dad". I opened it and it was a gorgeous jacket from Forever 21 that I had my eye on forever. "Oh G-d dad it's gorgeous. Thank you so much". "you're welcome. Well, I have to run to the station. Have a great day sweetheart". he put my arm around me for a short second, then removed it and rushed out of the house.

I got ready like I normally did, ignored breakfast, and left the house. As I began walking down the block. I heard Austin's black Lamborghini driving behind me. I stopped as he got out of the car and rushed towards me. He picked me up and twirled me around once and said, "happy birthday baby girl! I hope your day goes well!" he lowered me slightly till our lips touched.

He began to move his lips around mine as he held me tightly in his arms so protectively. I released myself and said, "ugh I have to go to school remember?" He laughed a little and said, "right I forgot. Well, get in baby". I sat myself in the passenger seat and he drove off. As he began to drive, he turned up "The Fray".

He drove into the school and of course, people were staring at us. I honestly didn't care so much anymore. He parked it far from people. And we stepped out of the car and he leaned against it. He pulled me towards him and pressed my lips against his. He put his hands around my waist and wrapped his arms around it.

He became more intense with the kiss, that I lost concentration of every single person that were around us. He held me so tightly against him, and I wrapped my hands around his neck.

Just then, we heard Rosalie and Ashley coming towards us, so in order not to make things awkward, we stopped. Rosalie embraced me in her usual warm hugs and handed me 5 balloons.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY NIKKI!" "Aw thanks Rose". I gave her a small hug and Ashley handed me a small cake she made at home, and I gave her a hug as well. Ashley looked over to Austin and said, "Nikki who's this?"

Rosalie already knew so she didn't question. I can tell that she didn't really like him, that's why she stood at a distance from him. "My names Austin". she shook his hand as he was smirking.

The bell rang and Rosalie and Ashley started walking towards the school. I walked up to Austin and said, "so this means that I won't be able to see you for the rest if the day?" "I guess so babe". I put my hand on the back of his neck and pulled him close to me so our lips could touch.

I could care less about the damn bell. This was all that mattered to me. He then lifted me up so that my legs would rap around his torso. "Miss Levin! you can kiss your boyfriend another time! Get to class!" Ugh. it was my shitty gym teacher. I didn't want to separate from him, but I had to. I gave him one last kiss, and started walking towards the school.
