Chapter 6 || Feelings are Feelings

Alice's POV

Ever since Josh and I kissed its been pretty awkward, we don't hang out as much and never talk to each other.  Even our parents are concerned about us since they knew ever since we met we were non-stop hanging out with each other. It was a really nice kiss and it just had a spark that i never felt before. It was amazing and since i had a lot of feelings for him i liked it a lot more than I should of. It was almost like a guilty pleasure. I wanted to talk to him i just didn't know how to.

So i contacted the one person who I knew could give me the best advice. Renee. Me and her have been friends since i was very little. I dialed her number before the phone started ringing."Hey Ren, I need some help" I said into the phone." What is it, Al" she said concerned."okay it sounds weird but ikissedmymomsboyfriendssonandnowwearentcloseanymore."  i said super quickly hoping she wouldn't understand but due to her again being my best friend she understood every word. "YOU DID WHAT".
"It was a dare"  i plead
"YOU KISSED"
"A DARE"
"ok ok well first you should mention it to him and say you didnt feel any feelings for him"
"Well thats the thing...i do" I said as she got quiet
"tell him..." She said back in the same tone.

After 30mins of catching up i got off the phone with her to go tell josh how i felt. As i went to go tell Josh once i opened my door there was Josh who was a little bit shocked."Oh Hey" he said still a tad bit awkward."hey, we have to talk" I said going back to my bed and sat down as he sat next to me."can we not let that kiss ruin our friendship, i mean it was awkward but lets just go back to normal" I said looking down and tucking a piece of hair behind my ear."I cant though" He mumbled."why". "Alice, I liked it" He said looking at me ashamed."I kinda did too" I admitted. He looked at me in shock before leaning in and kissing me again. I put my arms around his neck as we made out passionately. He cupped my face before I stopped kissing him. He kept our faces close looking at me in confussion. I pulled away removing my hands from his neck. "Josh this bad" I said looking down." I know but I like you a lot, ever since i met you ive liked you." he said placing his hand on my knee. "I do too but our parents are getting married" . "That doesn't mean our feelings for each other have to change." He said concerened. "Okay but we have to promise each other not to say ANYTHING to my mom or your dad or any of our friends." I said anesthetizing on the 'Anything' part. " I promise, this will stay in between just me and you" He smiled.
