Jacob's POV Today I'm going to Desaray's house because her mom is throwing a party to welcome us to the neighborhood and apparently alot kids my age are going to be there so I have to go.
I woke up and went downstairs to eat breakfast.
"Good morning mom." I said
"Good morning honey." She said setting a plate of food in front of me it had bacon,eggs,and some toast,then she gave me some orange juice.
"Mom do I really have to go?" I whined
"Yes ." She said
"Why?"
"Because Ms.Trevino invited us plus the party is for us. You're basically telling me you don't want to go your own party." My mom explained
"Fine." I said I finished my food then went upstairs I sat on my bed and thought about if everything is gonna be different.
I threw myself back on my bed in frustration. I was thinking about cutting it's been awhile since I have, but I decided I wanted to make a good impression.
"Hey mom said to start getting dressed. The thing starts in an hour." Caroline said waling in my room
"Ugh." I whined sitting up
"Don't worry Jacob it's gonna be ok you'll make some friends I mean you might not make some at the party but you'll make some eventually." She said rubbing my back she always knows what to say to make me feel better.
"Ok I guess." I said she left my room and told me to hurry up and get dressed. I jumped in the shower,then got out 15 minutes later and put on the outfit below ⬇⬇⬇

I went downstairs to put on my black roshes I sat on the couch and started watching TV when my mom came in and said that it was time to go I said OK then went upstairs and grabbed my phone and headphones. I heard the door close then I looked out my window and saw my mom and Caroline walking to Desaray's house,I was about to lay down when my mom called me.

I went downstairs grabbed a bag of chips then left.
Desaray's POV So my mom is throwing a party for Jacob's family and alot of my bullies are gonna be there but my mom doesn't know that I'm getting bullied. I was helping my mom set up as it begin to get closer and closer for the party to start I was still in my pajamas and my mom told me to go change.
"Hey your not really going to this party like that are you?" My mom asked
"Well yeah I kinda was I mean this is kinda my house too." I replied
"Well in sorry but you have to change." My mom said
"Really I'm just gonna be in my room anyways."
"No your not now go change now."
"Ugh." I groaned then went upstairs and changed (the outfit in slide)
I walked downstairs and saw that everyone was already arriving I walked around and started welcoming people you know just being a good hostess. I was really just trying to see if my friends are here yet which they weren't. I went down to my basement because that's where all the "kids" are supposed to be. As soon as I walked in I herd people yell my name.
"DESARAY!!!!!!" Some people yelled behind me I turned around and saw my best friends running up to me I ran up to them and we hugged for a long time.(we haven't seen each other since the last day of school.)
"How have you guys been?" I asked
"Well I've been good.California has been treating me well." Jackie said
"Did you meet any famous people?" Addie asked
"Sadly no." Jackie replied
"So Desaray how has your summer been?" Addie asked
"Eh it was alright." I replied
"It had to been better than just alright." Jackie said with a smirk on her face
"I guess the highlight of my summer was that i got new neighbors." I explained
"Ooo tell mo...." Addie started I cut her off
"Hold that thought I am wanted upstairs." I said reading a text that my mom sent me.
I ran upstairs and found my mom in the kitchen with Jacob and his family.
"Hey honey." My mom said
"Hi mom what's up." I replied
"Well you've met the Sartorius's already." She said
"Yeah."
"Well I was wondering if you could take Jacob and Caroline down to meet some of your friends." She explained
"Uh I guess." I replied I took them downstairs to where I left my friends
