Melissa at the top ⬆️⬆️⬆️
I was standing in our fitness room waiting for my useless challenger when the door slid open. Our leaders' assistant Melissa was standing there with her stupid clipboard.
"Kara, he wants to see you." She said really loudly
"K." I said calmly. I turned around and faced the challenger that had just turned up.
"And you're late Jens!" I growled at the boy in front of me. I whirled my wooden staff into his leg and he howled in pain.
"You could just call me by my first name." I grunted in response."it's Ben if you forgot and I would appreciate if you stopped hitting me so hard." He said through gritted teeth because I had just hit him on his knee again harder.
"Kara get your ass into his office now!" Melissa spat from across the room.
"Fine! I'll go now." I threw my staff down in anger and stopped across the room. I wish it had been a metal staff because then he would really learn to defend him self, I said to my self even though I knew I wasn't allowed to use it since my last angry training session. Let's just say I have a lot of anger bottled up for an explosion later. Most of it is from my family but that doesn't matter.
"Kara follow me quickly 'cause we're already behind time."
"Really? I never knew the world didn't wait for me!" I yelled sarcastically. As it echoed down the long corridors I saw the guards snap to attention and stare at Melissa as she clip clopped down the bare grey halls in her stupid stilettos. Clip clop, clip clop, clip clop. I clenched my fists so that I didn't strangle her to death. Clip clop, clip clop. I heard a flirty whistle towards us and I whipped around and was surprised to see the guard on my left was Ross who has liked me since I started at this agency, he is also part of the few people that will argue with me and not runaway. I shook my head at him as I walked away still desperately trying to control my urge to strangle Melissa right there in the hallway. Clip clop, clip clop, clip clop. That was about all I could take of those stupid fricking shoes.
"Hey Melissa could you stop-" I started.
"Kara get in here now!" My boss interrupted my attempt to roast Melissa. I gave my final glare at Melissa then tried to walk calmly into his office even though I really just wanted to turn around and run screaming out. People were only called into his office if you were in trouble or had a special mission. Please be the first option, please. His punishments are terrible but they are better than the missions he sends people on.
