The drive was long and tiring, my knuckles plastered to the wheel as I finally slithered my way into a freshly bricked driveway.
Today was the day that I had longed for, the day I get to start a fresh, a new home, a new life.
I'm Amerei Parker, 17 years old, there is definitely nothing special about me, I am just your average, everyday teenager, but so far my life has been nothing but a living hell, it's like Satan's clinging to me like a magnet.
But little did I know that my life was about to unpredictably change. But was it for better or worse?
I walked through the large double doors of my new home, clearing everything out of my mind. I trudged up the stairs with my pink poker doted suitcase lumbering behind me, the delivery van was overflowing with the furniture I could not just leave behind.
I began unloading my belongings when I felt a threatening chill down my spine, I cautiously turned around in the direction it came from, only to find a boy starring at me in bewilderment, he looked about my age maybe a year older.
His chocolate brown hair fell on wildly on his face, he was the hottest guy I had ever seen he wore black nike joggers with a tight revealing sleeve-less top, my eyes traveled down to his chest and was stunned at his obvious six-pack.
I mannaged to rip my eyes away from his amazing body up to his eyes they were a deep violate colour (I never thought that was possible, I guess I was wrong), they left me staring, i felt like i was getting lost in them.
He broke the silence with his seductive voice. Hey wait! did I just think that, I've only just met the guy. "Hey err .... are you OK?" He was waving his hand in front of my face, with a worried expression sprawled across his own.
"Err .. yeah I'm fine sorry I just got a bit distracted?" I can't believe I spaced out and in front of the hottest guy I have ever seen. Stupid hormones !
"Are you the one who's moving in here?" I giggled at his question, I thought it was a bit obvious as there was a big baby blue van outside saying 'HOME MOVERS'
"Yes, I'm moving in today, do you live around here?"
"Yes you could sort of say that, I'm Kairi, what's yo.." I cut his off mid sentence,
"Amerei, it's nice to meet you," I held out my hand subconsciously, but he didn't take it he looked as if he had seen a ghost.
His eyes were filled with something other that scared, he looked sad and pleading.
"I've just come to warn you, be careful this place isn't as serene as it looks." And with that he walked away, what was he on about? why was he warning me?
Questions buzzed through my mind, I stood paralysed against the van, felling another chill run down my spine.
