Day After

Woke up at 7am I have no idea why. Oh now I remember. "Umm Baby, Sandy has to be home at 1 and its already 12:30 and steve took Evie upstairs. So could you take us home?" " of course Pepsicola, let's go." We all got in the front and took Sandy home. I waited in the car while Soda walked her to the door and made out for a few minutes. When he was in we took off. It was silent besides the radio playing "In the Still of the Night' Pulling up to the Curtis home. "Baby thanks for the ride. It's good to have you back." We looked into each other's eyes. "Come for breakfast?" "I nodded." When I got home it was 1am and no one was up So I went strait to bed after washing my face and putting on my shorts and blouse pjs.
   I took a quick shower and just threw on a black tank top and a flowy flower White and black skirt that stopped low thigh and my black low converses. Left my hair down parted to the right side my earrings and my sunglasses. Alittle make-up. When i walked into the kitchen I found A note on the table
Josie, went to Oklahoma City for a anniversary party. If ya could by some milk, eggs, bread, sugar, and flour today I would appreciate it there's some money for the groceries. We will be home around 8pm. Have a great day.

Locking the house up I went to the store after calling the Curtis residence and Darry answered. "no problem Baby we are having a cookout today so come over around noon.." The store wasnt that big and i was able to get what i needed and went home. After putting the groceries away, I decided to walk today since I was only 10 min from soda.
The walk was a pleasant one until I heard the familiar rumble of an engine. "Keep looking forward." I mumbled.
"Look boys, ain't we found a piece of Heaven? she sure is a fine greaser whore." "Hey trash,why don't you let us show you a goodtime." I looked at the boy with curly blond hair and rings on his hands.."Go stuff yourself, you soc trash that's no way to get a girl." The car pulled to a stop in front of me and the doors slammed shut. I was grabed, but swung my left fist, I made contact. Damn it! still a 1/2 mile to go. I was surrounded by 5 socs. The guy with rings got back up and backhanded me. I fell to the hot sidewalk. I tried screaming for help but got punched again, I could taste the iron in my mouth. They had my arms and legs pinned, and the one with rings straddling my waist. Roaming his hands over my body. Then the one he called Randy handed the guy I know now as Bob a switch. Which he let it rest on my cheek and traced it down to my chest. I screamed again and he smacked me and the blade had made a cut. "HEY GET THE HELL OFF HER,!!" I heard shuffling and with one final kick to my stomach they left. Tears poured out of my eyes along with sobs. "SHIT!!Baby? it's me doll face" Opening my eyes I saw Will and some of his friends from the other night. "Jesus they did a number." He was on his knees holding me. "Take me to the Curtis house up the street 1/2 a mile. P-P Please?" Will nodded I was lifted up and placed in a car on his lap. They drove me there and pulled to the front. " hey guys give me a couple of minutes." They nodded, Will got out and picked me up. "I'm fine Will, I can walk." "Tell that to a cracked rib or two. He carried me to the door. I felt safe and was calming down with my crying. "Hey what the hell?" I heard Sodas voice. "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO HER? DARRY?" he called. Come on Will and lay her on the couch."

Sodas pov

I come out of the shower with a towel and see Will outside the screen door walking up with Baby. Taking in her injuries on her beautiful face I asked Will what happened and he had said some socs were jumping her. Her face had dried blood under her nose and lip a swollen eye a cut on her chest My God they used a blade. I saw bruises forming on her wrists and busted knuckles on her left hand must a punched one.That's my Girl. Darry came In followed by Dally. Will had Said she my have bruised or cracked a ribs. Darry lifted what was left of her shirt.. a big dark blue bruise. He agreed she bruised her ribs.
"Will?"I called "yeah dollface?" I blushed at that. "Thank you." I made eye contact with at least my good eye. "Anything for a girl who rocked my world last night." he winked I laughed then regretted it with the feel of pain. "Come here please?"He did and since Darry had cleaned the blood off my face. I removed the ice pack off my eye and the other off my lips and I gave him a kiss with my goodside. "A Kiss for my hero." He chuckled I'll call ya tomorrow see how ya doing." he winked. With some byes he left.

Dallys pov

"What does he mean she rocked his world last night?" asked Ponyboy. I let out a loud laugh. "Man,she took him to pleasure town. I thought they were in the same room with the moans and screams of each other's names for on and off for an hour."He laughed again. Pony's ears turned real red "Gave me motivation to do the red head I had under me better, can't share my title being considered a great lay with a girl. "

Sodas pov

Great, The thought of my girl known as a great lay, and Will being the luckey one made me pissed. Wait!Damn those thoughts. Sandy, Sandy, Sandy I kept chanting in my head. But eyeing Baby in whats left of her black button tank top, I pictured those long legs wrapped around my waist and her naked body.... Ah, i gotta take a cold shower.

Steve's pov

"We're ya going soda?" "To take a cold shower"he replied. Didnt he just? Man maybe he got turned on by Dally explaining about Josie and Will last night, and not sharing his title with anyone especially a girl for best lay. Wait that's impossible sweet timid Josie a great lay. Looking at her I could see she had changed. But I still loved my Evie. Like i always say can't hurt to look but not touch.

I closed my eyes for a few minutes and decided I needed to get up to go pee. guessing everyone was outside i opened the door."OH DAMN!!!" I covered my eyes "SHIT Soda im sorry.I thought everyone was out back."He laughed "Its fine Baby I got a towel on now."Removing my hands I saw he did have a towel the water still glistening on his chest. Geeze if he's big soft then what about hard. Stop thinking that it's Soda, he is with Sandy. "Baby you ok?" "Yeah just need to use the bathroom."We had to brush each other for him to leave. He stoped and looked at me. Placing his hand on my face. Looking at each other's eyes we both swallowed.

Sodas pov

So baby sees me naked not big deal. yeah right! As I was moving passed her to leave the bathroom I brushed against her and felt a spark, stopping I placed my hand on her chin looking and we looked in  each other's eyes well I looke in her one good eye. She had really pretty eyes. We begen to lean forwards, a few inches apart then I realized what was about to happened. Think fast OH! I cleared my throat "yeah we should put some more ice on that eye And I left the bathroom . Leaning against the close door I sighed. Man what's happening she is a friend I'm with Sandy plus she and mr brown eyes will get together.'WHAT IS HAPPENING..AHHH. I yelled in my mind.

Later on after hamburgers and stuff and a couple beers, I decided to head home. Steve gave me a ride home on his ways to Evie's house it was 730pm

Given Josie a ride home, because I didn't want her getting jumped again. "So I see ya settling in even making Dally feel like he will loose his title."She just chuckled. "Yeah I suppose." She replied." So when did the new Josie come into the picture." " I'm not new I am the same girl just with a more developed body and who lost her innocence at 15 to a boy I went steady with. And attended partys." She lost hers at 15! a year after she left."we pulled in front of her house. Getting out i called her back. Looking at me threw the opened passager window, "Look I am sorry for two-timin ya when we dated, I should have told ya before it happened." "It's fine Steve really." She gave me her breathtaking smile. "I'll see ya later yeah? And tell Evie i say hi. "Yeah." And she walked up to her door. Watching her hips sway like poetry in motion. I could always look but never touch. Smilling to myself I went to pick up Evie. Glad Josie is warming up to her.
