Chapter 1: Mission: "START!"

----No one's pov----

It's another day for vent and aile, seeing as how they still had to maintain Giro's business after they lost him to model w, and wouldn't want to forget the one thing that made them a family to begin with. As aile was keeping a list of every item they ordered last week, she started to remember how everything came to be: how she and vent obtained model x and z, Giro's death, and gathering the rest of the Biometals, defeating serpant, and helping grey and ashe by stopping master Albert.

"... it really has been that long... time really does fly by..." She said to herself, not knowing that vent and grey heard everything she said. Vent sighed,  and grey looked at him in confusion. "What's wrong?"

He asked him. Vent smiled. "She's remembering the time when we became megaman... " grey blinked. "What's wrong with that? Isn't that a good thing?" Vent looked at him. "A person we held dear was killed by model w... and so far... it's still hasn't been easy to get over his death." He replied back. Grey looked at him and then aile, realizing that he was treading on thin ice. As the three of them were finishing up, ashe walked in, cherry as usual.

"Hey, guys! I found something to get us a little extra money for the business." She said to them. They all looked at her, surprised. "And before you ask, yes, it was sent in from the Guardians and the hunter camp." She waved her phone with a notification on the screen. "What's it about?" Vent asked.

She smiled at him. "Here, let me show you." She connected it to the main monitor in front of them. "There's been some anomalies in area-n; supposedly, there's still some maverick activity going on there, and it's causing some small earthquakes near the surrounding areas, but that's not the interesting bit, this is." She pointed at a large energy signature on the screen.

Everyone looked at it carefully. "Is it another model w fragment?" Aile said. "Nope, because THIS signature is something else, watch." Ashe replied, as she pulled up an energy signature of model w. "This is model w's reading, but in comparison to the other one.... " She pulls up the other. "... it's safe to say that model w isn't even close to reaching THIS level." The others looked in shock, because the other signature, is six times BIGGER than model w.

"What could be giving off that much power?" Grey questioned. Ashe looked at him. "Well, that's why we were given this assignment. Seeing as how vent and aile here went through area-n, they've been assigned this mission, along with us, providing backup." Vent looked at her. "So, when do we start?" He questioned. Ashe looked at them all. "As soon as we close up shop."

After she said that, the clock struck midnight, and thus, closing time. "Well, would you look at that, closing time." Ashe said. Grey looked at everyone. "So, we're going?"

The others agreed, and prepared for the mission they were given.
