"So, where am i?" I heard the male say. "This is the resistance base. Both me and Cial are the commanders here. As I've said before, we found you flowing down the river near here." I told him.
He looked relieved to hear that, and judging by the way he looks and his outfit, it looks like he was in a really bad situation.
Cial looked at me, and turned to face him. "So, kid, mind telling us how you survived falling from a 300 mile drop?" He looked at us surprised. "A... a 300 mile drop!?" We both looked at him. "You mean you don't remember?" Cial asked.
He shook his head in a 'no' fashion. "No, nothing."
Cial looked at him. "Do you remember anything at all?" He looked up at the ceiling, and then looked at us in defeat. "No, just about the only thing I can remember is the name '(Y/N)'... a dimly lit lab... and that's about it."
I thought about it for a minute. "You seem to have some case of amnesia, and it seems serious. If you can only remember that, then it's a bad idea to have you walking around aimlessly." I told him. He seemed to understand, and agreed.
"Alright, then. If that's the best way to keep out of trouble, then yeah, I'll stay here."
Cial walked towards the kid and slung her arm over his shoulder, and gave a toothy grin. "You'll be fine, kid! You got us to back you up!"
He looked shocked at first, but he smiled a second later.
"Thanks."

After a while, I decided to walk around the base to stretch my legs. They started to get that pins'n'needles feeling from when you sit on them for too long.
"This place is huge... I'm surprised no one gets lost... " I said to myself. I kept walking, only to end up in a transit station, and on board a train.
"Uh-oh... " I tried to get off, but it started to leave the station, and it soon, it got farther and farther away. I sighed. "Well, I guess I'll just enjoy the ride."
"Hey!"
Looking over my shoulder, I saw a resistance soldier walk up to me. "I'm guessing that you got on here by accident, right?" He said. I nodded in agreement, and he chuckled. "Don't worry, the train goes back to the base after this ride, so you'll be back in no time. Name's paul, by the way."
He stuck his hand out to shake, I accepted the offer.
"(Y/N).... so, wait, this is a delivery train?" I asked, and he smiled. "Yup, we transport all kinds of goods, and we even use this to move refugees to safe zones."
"Refugees?... " I said. He looked a little down. "Yeah, after what had happened with master Albert of the sage trinity, things haven't been so good lately. Mavericks have been popping up more recently, and most dangerous of all, they've even been appearing in residential districts a lot more than usual. That's where we come in. We try to move as many as possible to other safe zones, and try to get the rest there as well."
He looked saddened by the mention of the refugees. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" "oh, no, it's all right. Besides, we're able to get in on the action." He beamed.

"What the-oh, damnit, it's a maverick raid!!!" I saw Paul firing a few rounds, and he bolted towards the main car. "Stay down, and try to find a place to hide!" He yelled to me.
I did what I was told, and tried to get away, only for a blade cut through the roof of the boxcar I was in.
"Hmph! You couldn't even get rid of this pathetic welp? Pandora, you're getting weak!"
"My apologies, prometheus."
I looked up and saw... her... that girl from before.... "Y-you again!?"
She looked at me. "So... (Y/N)... you still live after the encounter with that mechanaloid... impressive... " "BAH, he doesn't seem like much! He'll be easy to take out." The guy with the beam scythe said.
"Wait, don't think I'll go down like tha-ARGHHHH!!!" I yelled in pain, clutching my arm.
"Lie down, and die quietly."
I started to lose my vision, and fell to my knees.
'Hey, kid!'
"Huh?"
'Listen up! Do you want to live!?'
"Who... who's there?"
'Look alive, kid!!! If you want to live, then repeat after me, say this real loud: MEGAMERGE!'
I got back up, and the guy noticed this. "Oh, still got some fight left, do you?... huh?" He saw me, giving the both of them a stoic look.
"MEGA... "
"... no way... " Prometheus said, his eyes widening.
"MERGE!!!!!"
After I yelled that outloud, a small red device appeared right in front of me, right out of my chest.
