~later in the day~
We drove to the Jersey Shore beach
"Greetings everyone!" The host yells out
We all look at him & notice he's standing beside the sandy beach
Meaning he's on the sidewalk
"Must be wondering what we're doing right?" he asks
We all nod
"We're playing beach volleyball"
We all start cheering
I played volleyball in school..
This will be piece of cake.
"There's a catch" he says
We all get quiet...
"The winner's team gets to use the huge lobby pool for the whole week" he says
I gasp
I love that pool but can never use it
Because of dumb Samantha
It's bigger than my house..
It's huge & has colored lights at the bottom
Making the pool light up in different colors
"Deal!" We yell
"Okay I'll pick the captains" the host says
He walks through the crowd of us
He eyes me & points at me
"Your the captain of your team..pick your partner" he says
I smile & look around
"I choose..Nate" I say proudly
"Great!" He says & Nate stands next to me
"Okay Samantha your the captain of your team..pick your partner" the host says
She sucks her teeth & rolls her eyes
"Derek." she says & looks at her long red fake nails
They all crowd around her & I roll my eyes
"Round 1 will start in 5 minutes..get ready!" The host says & disappears somewhere
"Hey let's make a deal.." Gilinsky says
before he goes to sit down
I smirk & move closer to him
"What's the deal Babyboy?" I ask winking
"Damn..how are we suppose to be friends when your like hitting on me rn" he says
I giggle & hit his arm playfully
"Anyway..how about this?..if we win..we have a celebration at the nightclub downtown..if we don't..we stay at home.." He says
"Deal. I know we're gonna win this tho"
"How you know?" Nate asks
"duhhh look who's your captain" I say pointing to myself
"Miss Conceited." Nate says
I slap his arm & run to into the sand
~during round 1~
We're now playing & I hit the ball as it gets closer to me
It bounces to Samantha's side & we score a point
When she fails to grab it in time
before it fell on the sand
I high five everyone & Samantha looks pissed
I glare at Derek..
I'm not letting him get to me..
He gives me dirty looks as I hang out with Gilinsky...
This whole competition is for me ending up with someone..
I just hope it isn't Derek...
Oh god...
The ball comes towards me & before i could grab it
Nate gets in front of me & smacks it hard
making it land on Samantha's side again
Scoring a point for us once again
Now 2-0 in round 1 already
Samantha's stressed out & I'm loving it..
After I had the fight with Derek..
Which wasn't too long ago..
I'm back to my old self..
A confident,strong & independent woman
Like I was before this show happened..
It gave me a wake up call
I had to put my head in the game..
I also has to remember it's all competition so..too bad for Derek..if I like someone else..
He's sleeping with Samantha anyway...why would I wanna be with him??
I smack the ball & score another point for my team
3-0 in round 1...
~a long time later~
We're now at the final round & it's 20-20
So basically a tied game
1 more point & anyone could win..
By anyone..I hope it's me...
The whistle blows & we start the final round
Samantha tries to score but Nate blocks her from getting in..
It was so sudden..
The ball came so fast to me
I smacked it so hard & landed at Samantha's side
I screamed after hearing the whistle blow meaning it's over.
"Omg we won!" I say & wrap my legs around Nate
He giggles & spins me around
Samantha acts like a sore loser & storms off dragging Derek with her..
Nate carries me off back to the car..
So we can head on back to our house & go out..for our celebration party!....
