~the next day~
I'm scrolling through Instagram while relaxing in the pool
When a hand grabs my phone
I look up to see Jasmila pissed
"Hey Mila whats wrong?" I ask
She glares at me
"Were you flirting with Nate?" She blurts out
"No."  I say raising a eyebrow
I wanna tell her that he flirted & I tried to stop him but...it won't help...
"Lies you speak...he just told me you came over to him & started flirting with him...you even kissed him!!!??? I thought you were my friend!" She yells in my face
"I didn't kiss him." I say
"Oh yeah?..but you flirted right?" She asks
Don't answer. It's a test.
But I have to answer or else she'll get more angry
"No I didn't. He flirted with me. I tried to stop him. Believe me Mila I'm not attracted to Nate..he's all yours..but..he does flirt with me a lot...I feel uncomfortable but I didn't want to tell you..since you "LOVED" him so much.." I say air-quoting the word "Loved"
"I don't know...I don't trust you anymore...he's my boyfriend & I trust him because he wouldn't do such a thing...he wouldn't cheat on me..he loves-"
"Loves you? Please he was saying he doesn't feel any sparks with you at all" I say now yelling at her
I can't believe he lies to her & she actually believes it all...
"Your just jealous..." She says glaring
"Why would I be jealous?" I ask now mad
"Because I'm with someone & you haven't found someone yet..listen I understand it's hard to find someone..but understand this..he's off limits." She says
"Whatever I don't care for him anyway. I just dealt with him because of you." I spat at her
She storms off & I roll my eyes
~the next morning~
I hear a knocking on my door
I groan & I don't hear the host's voice
But Jasmila's voice instead
I roll my eyes remembering our fight last night..
It was petty & stupid to fight over a Boy..
A boy I don't wanna be with anyway..
"Please let me in" she pleads
I sigh & uncover my sheets
I brush my hair out & tie it up in a messy bun
I walk to the door & open it
"Yes?" I ask slightly annoyed
"I'm sorry..please hear me out." She says with a tear rolling down her cheek
"We made up. I fought with Nate but we made up..but I wanna apologize to you..I'm sorry.. I'm so dumb to think you would flirt with him...you! my best friend! I'm so stupid...he promised me something...that he wouldn't mess up meaning he won't ever cheat on me." She says in tears
"Then why are you crying?" I ask
"I'm sad because I almost broke our friendship over him." She says & hugs me tightly
"Can you forgive me?" She asks & sniffles a little
I nod & kiss her head
"I forgive you Mila. Your my new sister I can't not be mad at you..even if I tried to" I say
We stay in bed watching Netflix
while everyone else goes food shopping for dinner..
I pull out 2 blunts & hand Mila one
I light both up & I take a few puffs
She takes a few puffs as well...
We're now laughing at funny videos on YouTube
She smiles at me
"We good?" She asks
"Yes." I say & she holds my hand tightly
We both inhale the smoke & exhale laughing our asses off....
friends will fight & split
But best friends...they instead bicker & move on..meaning they forgive & forget..
