I heard my phone go off
"Van? You up for a smoke at mine?"
I stood up and grabbed my pack of fags walking out of my hotel room
"Where you going mate?" Larry asked "Emily's." I answered tapping on the lift button "see you 'round twelve then?" He asked i nodded "I'll call ya' mate" I said seeing the doors closing
I stepped out of the lift and headed outside feeling the air of New York hit me like a slap in the face
I called a cab and found my way to Emily's like usual.
"Good evening" she smiled as she opened the door "it's so cold outside, innit supposed to be warm over 'ere?" I asked her putting my jacket off she laughed "how long are you 'ere again?" She asked "two days." I whispered looking at her sitting down on her couch
"You have a lighter? Mine stopped working" she said sitting next to me
I grabbed my lighter out of my jacket and handed it to her after i lighted mine
I looked outside "it's great over 'ere" I said looking at her "what makes you think that?" She asked me looking outside
"Don't know, just meeting new people to hang with you know what i mean? I like making a new start" I said looking outside again
"New start?" She asked "it's not something that i would say is it? I just- need new people around me for a bit" I sighed
"How long are yous staying?" She asked me brushing a hand trough her long hair
"Don't know exactly, but not soon" I respond finishing my fag
She nodded "so how is van's love life?" She asked smirking i looked at her
Lexi.
Van, it's been a long time for over it
"I just met this gorgeous girl two days ago" I whispered looking into her eyes "what's her name?" Emily asked coming closer
"Her names Emily" I whispered looking at her
She closed her eyes smiling
It drove me insane
"Oh really?" She asked after a second opening her eyes "yeah man, she has a good sense of humor a mad taste in music really" I said kissing her cheek

"Mate it's 2am you should've been here at 12" Larry said closing the door "I've wrote two new ones" I said handing him my notebook
"That's amazing and all that but i gotta talk to you" he said sitting down lighting a spliff for me "bout' what lid?" I asked looking at him taking a drag of his spliff "don't you think you lost your way a bit?" He asked
I stood up putting some music on
"-I'm coming out of my cage and i've been doing just fine, gotta be down 'cause I want it all, It started out with a kiss
How did it end up like this

I shut the radio off and closed my eyes
"This will be out song for now on yeah?" I smiled moving my hips
She nodded with the prettiest smile kissing my lips softly
I shook my head looking at Larry
Memories kept floating trough my brain
"You alright, lad?" He asked
I sat down again "yeah, why?" I said taking a drag of my ciggy'
"I asked you, don't you think you lost your way a bit?"
I looked at Larry "no? Why would you think that?" I lied
"Van?" Emily asked
"Yes, love?" I said setting my guitar back looking at her "how late does your gig start?" She asked sitting down on my lap
"Round' eight i suppose" I whispered kissing her cheek
"Van?" She then asked after a long silence
"Emily?" I teased looking at her smiling
"I want you to know that i care-" She started
"-yous wanna go out for Lunch?" Larry asked walking in, what was Emily saying
"Van? You alright?" Emily asked me snapping me out of my trans "yeah sweet" I answered
"Class, let me know when you ready" he said walking out of the room
I looked at Emily "what were you saying again?" I whispered
She got off my lap and walked towards the chair that was standing in my hotel room
"I forgot." She replied coldly as if she was lying
I stood up walking towards her and hovered her "van we have to g-" she started
I cut her off by pressing my lips against hers
- Lexi's pov
I lay awake in my room looking at Brian
Of course i didn't really love Brian, not even close to that.
"Brian?" I whispered "yes?" He whispered back
"I can't sleep" I sighed "me either."
"You want to have a smoke on your balcony?"
I shook my bead tracing my hand over his cheek "I quit." I answered him picking at my nails "since when?" He chuckled "since last week" I said he nodded standing up
"I'll be right back, yeah?" He asked i nodded
Ones i heard him close the window behind him i started closing my eyes and crying softly
Have you ever cried cause you know everything's changed?
Everything's just not like it supposed to be anymore?
Everything is fucked?
I missed my friendship with Becky, we didn't hang out much
I had no ones to really talk to about my problems anymore.
Brian isn't van and that fucks with my head
I missed van but i didn't want to give in
Everything's changed, and so am i.
Everything's feels weird so fucking weird
I opened my eyes and wiped my tears
It's been like 7 month since van and i last saw each other.
I heard the window open "I'm back" Brian whispered hopping into my bed
I didn't answer and pretend to sleep

I woke up with red eyes from the crying last night.
I sighed looking over my shoulder to see that Brian left early, i was all alone now.
I stepped out of my bed and made my way to my kitchen lighting a fag
I felt lonely at times without zack of Becky by my side.
I made some tea and ate something.
I grabbed my phone and looked at becky's number i sighed and locked my phone making my way towards my bedroom
I got dressed and called Brian if he had some time for me when i walked out of the building i was living in a saw a familiar face
"Zack?"
