I wake up next to Louis. We are both on the livingroom sofa. For whatever reason we decided to crash here. I smile happily as I see the beauty beside me, his adorable features easily seen as he slumbers.
His soft eyelashes are closed, while brushing up against his upper cheeks. His pink plump are curved into a gentle and loving smile. His nose is so small and pixie like, I could just cry looking at him. No one is as beautiful as the man before my eyes. As I am about to get up, I see Louis stretch and rub his eyes. When he wakes up it is the most beautiful thing in the world.
"Morning, angel." I say nudging up against his chest. He chuckles and sits up a bit more, his eyes slowly fluttering open.
"Morning." He grumbles softly. He lays his head against my chest and sighs. I know something is still bothering him. Me. I'm the problem in this terrible odd equation.
"Lou...something is wrong."
I try to say it but it just ends up being a muffle. He looks up at me with his innocent baby blue eyes, and smiles a gentle smile. I want to sob. Squal even. He is just so perfect.
"Babe, I promise you, I'm fine." I would let you know if I wasn't." He caresses my cheek trying to convince me, but I'm not entirely convinced yet.
"I-I'm going to go make you breakfast, alright?"
He nods and sighs. I can tell by his reaction that he is coming into the kitchen with me.
I stand to my feet and look at Louis, his beautiful sky blue eyes looking directly into mine. He isn't talking but his eyes are saying a thousand words. Regret. Pain. Sorrow. Forgiveness. How was he so quiet? How was I able to read him like I was?
"Stay here, angel." I'll just be in the kitchen."
He nods slowly and I feel my heart hit the floor. I didn't want him to have to get up...but by the looks of it I was hurting his feelings. As I make my way to the kitchen I start looking for the instant pancake batter. It isn't too awfully hard to find, next to the maple syrup in the pantry. I smile picking it up and taking it to the counter top. Next I get out the blueberries and milk. I would be mixing all of these ingredients together to make blueberry pancakes.
I had just poured a cup of milk into the mix when I see Louis walk in. He is wearing black boxers and a pair of white bunny slippers. I can't help but smile.
"You didn't have to come in here, angel."
He smiles softly and walks over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist. I instantly flush pink and smile back.
"I know you don't want to talk, Hazzy." I stiffen a little as he talks on. "You need to though. We need to talk about our feelings with one another..."
"Talk it over?" I ask unevenly, while putting little blueberries in the mix.
"Yes... talk about what went on...what we can do to fix it...and hopefully get back the way we were."
I slowly nod, looking directly at Louis now, and sits at the counter top, showing off his perfect sun-kissed body.
"No thanks." I'll just watch you."
I nodded and continued making the pancakes although it was a little distracting.
