I thought it would be relatively easier just to take Harry home, he seemed to become more out of it now. Unaware of his surroundings as I drove us both home. The thoughts remain in my mind consistently. How would I care for him? What if he and I had a fight and it began to escalate into something I couldn't control? What if he became so sick that he just-
"Hey, Lou, is it okay if we stop for a chicken salad?" Harry's sweet honey-rich voice interrupted me and my own thoughts which I was actually glad for. I pull into Wendy's not too far from my house and park in the parking lot closest to the entrance.
"Would you like to go inside, Haz, I can help you out if that's what you would like." Louis glowed at the thought of him and Harry spending a lunch date together. Harry didn't respond to Louis's most current question. Why? He didn't realize where he was or even in all honesty who he was. He felt like a drifting feather in a world of darkness. Made sense didn't it? Everything seemed to be dark due to no vision, Louis knew something was wrong almost right away.
His heart nearly shattered when he saw tears falling from Harry's cheeks, the sunglasses hiding his eyes so he didn't know how they looked exactly. But the fact he had tears it couldn't have been a good sign.
Louis started the ignition back up, driving Harry to an eye specialist. His only option at this point, anything else that seemed relatively important was not important to Louis anymore.
"Louis it hurts..." Harry whimpered reaching for him, which made Louis want to start sobbing almost instantly but he couldn't he had to be strong for his baby.
Louis embarks following Harry to room 928 his eyes fill with tears as he observes just how weakened Harry has become. Being put on the hospital bed, his arms dangling from the doctor's shoulders and it broke Louis's heart."Are you here with him?" The doctor raised a question, walking over and simply taking with it really introducing himself. "My intentions are to make Harry as comfortable as he can be."
Louis looked at the doctor in what was supposed to be confusion, but in all reality, it looked like disgust. He couldn't believe this, they were just going to make him comfortable, like he could die overnight.
Before Louis could spit out exactly what he wanted to say a familiar face was last the door.
"Zayn?" Louis asked with wide eyes his mouth nearly hitting the floor.
