I walked towards the stair case and plopped down. The party and proposal happened two days ago. Tonight my boss got mad at me and I was fired because I was framed by his daughter. 17 and a total butt. I sloppily got up from the stairs and walked to the kitchen. Tonight was the Ole Miss vs. Alabama game and I was having a party. I invited Josh and his friends (Mace,Brayden, Calvin, and Kaz) and the girls. I made guacamole and set chips on the coffee table. I took out some Sprite, Coke, Dr. Pepper and a made a couple of fireball's (kind of like margarita except no alcohol) After that I quickly ran upstairs and put on my blue tank top, red jeans, red and blue wedges and my owl necklace.

I put my hair in a red and blue bow and walked downstairs just as the doorbell rung.
I opened the door. " Lexi! Josh! How are you!!" I put on a fake smile as they pulled me in a hug.
"Oh just amazing Lo!!" She beamed "We're starting to get the wedding plans together!"
The sat down on the couch as I went to open the door for another person. Cheya, Brii, and Ally rushed in each giving me a small hug and raced to the kitchen saying 'we can cook better than you Logan' while they took ingredients out.
The door bell rung again and Calvin said a quick hello before sitting on the couch in a red and blue button-up shirt. Next Kaz stumbled through the door in a crimson beanie.
I looked at him shocked.
"What is that." I pointed to his hat and he frowned a bit.
"Sorry Logan. It's the only red hat I have." My face softens at his answer.
"Follow me I have a few. Don't know why cause I don't wear em but you can have some." I climb up the stairs of my average size apartment with him right behind.
I walk into my room and open my closet. Hmmm. Where did I put them. Oh yeah! I shuffled to the bottom of my dresser and open it up to about 20 beanies forgotten. He takes my red one with a OLE MISS PRIDE label on it and slips it on.
We walk downstairs and the game begins. I scream at the tv because Alabama made a touchdown. Lexi has no idea what's happening. She is so confused. Oh well. Ole Miss makes a touchdown and I jump up screaming. Mace and Brayden raise their eyebrows at my behavior, but I don't care. We watch the game conclude with Alabama- 48 and Ole Miss- 43. Ugggh it's ok though their number one and Ole Miss is 19. After the game, everyone heads to their car to grab their clothes for staying over night. (Lexi and Josh thought it would be cool to have a sleepover after the game.) They all trampled back inside and we concluded that since I only have 4 rooms in my apartment we concluded there would be 3 in one room and 2 in all the others.
"Who sleeps in what room?"
"Oh!!! I know! Kaz give me your beanie." Lexi beams a bit when Kaz hands her the red beanie. "Josh.... Babe can you bring me some paper. In the kitchen on the shelf." Lexi knew my house inside and out. Josh handed her the paper and a pen and she wrote each of our names in perfect handwriting and placed them in the beanie.
"Ally pick." Ally gingerly placed her hand in the hat and pulled out a name.
She read it carefully with a small smile on her face. "Calvin"
Cheya was next. She put her hand in the hat and pulled out. "Brii"
Josh was next.
"Lexi" they beamed as they found out they where roommates.
That leaves.......Me, Mace, and Brayden. Oh no. Cheya wiggled her eyebrows at me. Crap.
"Hey does anyone have to do anything on Saturday?" Lexi asked.
"No."
"Nope"
"Sadly nah"
"No. I'm lonely."
"Yes but it's late party. Why?"
"I thought since no one has to do anything maybe we could have a two day sleepover." She turned to me facing away from the guys and winked at me.
"Sure." We all replied.
We all just stood there looking at each other awkwardly. Lexi took the lead of the party quickly.
"Girls! Take your showers first. If I see any of you boys looking at them without clothes so help me--" She was cut off by Mace.
"Relax Lexi. That's gross."
"Exactly that's why I better not see you. Josh. Go ahead I have to watch them."
I decide to stay down here with Brayden, Mace and Calvin.
They turned on a football game from a couple days ago. Re-runs. Great. Soon the girls came down stairs leaving me and the boys to shower. I got out quick after shampooing and lathering my hair in conditioner. The boys sat on the bed playing on their phones. I changed in the bathroom and then climbed between them. It was quiet until Mace asked a question.
"How did Josh and Lexi meet?"
"It's aSappy love story. Sure your up for it?" He nodded
"Okay. Lexi was at a party and a guy started getting close to her and her trapped her. She screamed but was barely heard over the music. Josh heard her though and bust through the door to save her. She got his number, and he eventually asked her out. Two years later, Josh proposed leaving my ugly self alone." I concluded the story with a frown on my face. They both looked at me with sympathy all over their faces.
"What makes you think your ugly?" Brayden asked in a calm demeanor.
"Have you seen me? I'm a walking potato." This caused them to smile and I smiled to.
Mace turned serious.
"Your beautiful. Don't ever forget that." I blushed at his words. I whispered a good night and got two back. I feel asleep with two ams around my waist and a hand intertwining fingers with mine.
