-September 1st, 2000 7:30AM. 6 years old-
It was 7:00AM now, and I was on my way to my first day of 1st grade. I was now attending Brooklyn Heights Elementary school with Jenna, I hadn't known until now that it was a private school. But I think I would get used to it, I stood in front of my mirror with Pepper behind me doing my hair in a fishtail braid. I wore my uniform-Which was A red-ish cardigan and a Navy blue skirt and a pair of Red Converse.
"Are you nervous?"
Of course I was nervous I was afraid of not having friends, Of course I had Jenna, But I was worried about making other friends too. What if they were only friends with me for my dad, or they don't want to be friends with me because of my dad, Or-Or-
"A bit." I lied
She could see right through me, She turned me towards her and scrunched down to my level. "Look, I know you're afraid of not being treated equal. But I promise- You will make friends and they will love you for you, Okay?" I processed her words and started to feel better about the thought.
"See? I know you'd feel better. Now c'mon I think Jenna's here." I nodded, Grabbing my bag off the bed and heading out the door.
Jenna stood outside the room wearing a pair of black Converse, "I hate this uniform." She grumbled. Her mom stood next to her- "Come on-It's not that bad."
"Kind of is." I grumbled back, Jenna put her hand up for a high-five which I slapped.
"It's 7:45, We need to get you two to school."

It was lunch now- And me and Jenna sat by these two girls in our class. One named Emilie and the other named Demi, Emile had super blonde hair and electric blue eyes. But Demi has Velvet red and brown eyes.
We all hated the uniform, We all thought the girls should be able to wear pants too. I mean it's the year 2000, Why can't women wear decent clothes? "Lil, Earth to Lilly." Jenna waved her hand in front of my face. "What?" I jumped.
"You were thinking about womens rights again weren't you?"
"Maybe.Kind of. Sort of." I rambled.
"I knew it! You owe me a cookie!" Demi said to Emilie.
"Same with me," Jenna stated.
"Wait...You guys bet to see on what I was daydreaming about?" They nodded looking ashamed, I started laughing "This-This is why we're friends." I laughed but was soon interupted by the bell

After school was over Jenna,Em, and Demi came over to do our homework together.
We kicked back on the couch watching The Amanda Show, While doing a big packet on subtracting by 10's.
(A/N: I think I have written the shortest chapter ever in this book,But I kind of wanted to speed things up a bit.
Which means, This book may end in about 10 chapters. And you all know there is going to be a sequal :)
Oh! And Lilly has more friends now! And she's in 1st grade now! And- So many new chapters coming soon so I can't say anymore :D )
