Cara woke to knocks at the front door, and stood, leaving the room wherein she had been sleeping in a pile with all of her friends. Only Shelley, Paisley, Jack, and Dylan remained asleep, however, the others seemed to be talking in hushed tones downstairs. She heard someone open the door, but didn't go straight downstairs. Instead, she peered into the nursery her Mother had decorated for Aurora, smiling when she saw her daughter sitting up, staring at her with wide eyes.

Cara entered the room, crossing the distance between the door and the crib. Aurora smiled when she reached into the crib, lifting her out of its confines and holding her to her chest. "Good morning, baby," Cara smiled, pressing a kiss to Aurora's head. "I love you." She said, as she did every morning when her daughter woke up. Then, the two left the room, making their way down the stairs with Cara humming a tune to her.

She wasn't shocked to see Dylan standing in her living room with Tyler, chatting with their friends. Moony stood from her place on the sofa, sweeping in to take Aurora from Cara before anyone else had the chance. Cara quickly excused herself and Dylan, leading him out to the backyard. Her Mother was making breakfast in the kitchen, and she smiled in their direction as they passed.

"I've asked for a paternity test," Dylan announced the second the door was shut behind them, taking Cara's hands in both of his and resting his forehead against hers. "I shouldn't have— I should have believed you from the start, but I was just— I love that little girl, Cara. I don't think I could bear finding out she isn't mine, but I'm going to do it. Because it's probably killing that Isaac guy, knowing that he might be being robbed of spending time with his daughter. Thea refused at first, but she eventually gave in, especially when I said I'd just do one without her anyway. It's— it's tomorrow, by the way. Someone cancelled their appointment and I was the first to call— so, yeah," He sighed. Cara released one of his hands, lifting it to his cheek. She tilted her head upwards, pressing her lips to his.

"No matter the outcome, just remember that you'll always have Aurora. You'll always have our little girl. You'll always be a father," She whispered against his lips, "And we both love you so much, so so much,"

"I love you too," Dylan murmured, "I want to spend my whole life with you,"

"And I, you, " She smiled, then pulled away. "Let's go inside. I should help Mom with making breakfast for everyone."
