Guilt
Distress
Depression
DeathThat's all you felt. Not after what happened in Sokovia.
You had been with the twins. You had gotten enhanced too. You killed inocent people.
The thing is, you came from America, you came from the Avengers. You loved the Avengers, not to mention Tony Stark. Tony was your weakness. The only thing that could make you feel belonged.
But that was all over.
You destroyed yourself. Started over. Pushed all your feelings for Tony and the Avengers to the back of your mind and fought. You had become a hollow shell of your former self. Someone who didn't care if she ever saw Tony again. She didn't care that Tony might have moved on.
Until the Avengers came to Sokovia.
Until you fought Tony.
Until you saw how desperate he was, how much he wanted you back.
After Sokovia, all of those memories you pushed back and tried to forget came rushing back.
You couldn't stop the feeling of wanting to be alone. You isolated yourself from the Avengers for days when they brought you and Wanda to the compound. You sat alone, not saying anything. You hardley ate.
"I can help her Steve!" You heard Tony say one day.
"How Tony? She is a shell of her former self."
"The (y/n) I fell in love with is still in there. I just have to find her. What Hydra made her, that killer, isn't the (y/n) I remember. I have to fix her Steve. She hasn't eaten or talked to anyone in days, not even Maximoff. I'm getting worried."
"We all are Tony. We all wanted her back. And if you think you can help her, then go right ahead."
You couldn't stop the tears that day. Knowing that Tony wanted to help you.
You haven't seen him since Sokovia, almost three weeks ago. You hadn't looked for him either. You just sat on your bed, lost in deep thought.
And that's where you are now. Sitting in the Avengers compound, getting leisurely lecture about "How you can't jump out of a Quinjet without a parachute" by Steve.
"I don't understand why you are yelling at me," you say, "you do it all the time." Steve rolls his eyes.
"Because I am expirenced."
"And who says Hydra didn't teach me something useful while I was there all those years?" You cross your arms.
"All Hydra taught you was how to fight. Kill. Destroy. They didn't want you. They wanted soldiers. They made you into a enhanced soldier. The sooner you except that, the better."
"They made me powerful," you growl, "I can whip your butt with one hand."
"They made you a killer!" he shouts, "someone who killed inocent people so Hydra could become more powerful!" You run your hands through your hair and take a deep breath.
"Steve," Tony's voice at the door makes you turn around.
"You need to see this too (y/n)." Steve walks out followed by Tony, and you walking slowing.
"(y/n)," Tony slows down to your side.
"What?" You snap, not looking in his direction.
"I'm sorry. I've been in the lab for days trying to find something to help you."
"Help me with what?"
"(y/n), you're not, you. Whatever Hydra did to you, it's taken over. You seem like a total diffrent person."
"Well, last time I recall, that's what you said to me. So here I am." He sighs as you walk into the lab.
"That's not what I meant," He says, walking to a computer.
"Of course it's not," you growl under your breath.
-
Tony had did it. He actually helped you. Ever since that day in the lab.
Tony claimed that he had a way to rid you of your depressing state. You didn't belive him.
But some how he did.
