Chapter 4

Harper's pov
The bell starts to ring. That means lunch time. Perfect.

I can find out who Max is and who is friends are. If I get in with his friends. I am going to get along with him.

But also that means not getting Max mixed up with Harvey. This might be a little bit hard.

I walk to the cafeteria. I accidentally bump into a girl. She falls to the ground with a thud "Oh I'm so sorry!" I say. "Oh no it's fine." She says. She stands up and brushes off her skirt.

"I'm Emily." She says. "Harper." I say. "Nice to meet you Harper." She says. "Nice to meet you to." I say.

"Would you like to come and eat with me and my friends?" She asks me. "Sure i'd love to!" I say.

"Maybe she knows Max." I all that is going though my head. We walk into the cafeteria. "Over here." She says. We walk over to a table that only has a girl and a boy.

"Well that is just great." I think to myself. We sit down and the other girl smiles at me. The boy just keeps on eating his food.

"Tom, Kim this is Harper. She is new here today." Emily tells them. "Oh your the girl Harvey called Harpie." Kim says. "Your in my English class?" I ask her.

She nods her head. "Sorry about Harvey. He can be pretty teasing at times." Kim tells me. "It's fine I'm use to it. I have a younger brother." I say.

"Well I'm Tom." The boy says. "Hi." I say. He finally looks up from his food and gives me a smile.

"Looks like Max and Harvey are coming. Hope Harvey does not get mad." Emily says. I look over to where Emily is looking.

I see the idiot who thinks it is funny to call me Harpie. And a very cute looking boy. "I now love this mission." I think to myself.

"What's she doing here?" Someone asks as I snap out of my daydreaming. "I invited her to sit and eat with us." Emily says. "Whatever." He says and sits next to Tom.

The other boy sits next to me. "Hi I'm Max." He says. I look at him. I look at his eyes. Hazel, part of his left eyebrow is missing, and amazing cute.

"I'm Harper." I say. "Sorry about Harvey. He can be rude at sometimes. And he is really mad today." Max tells me. I smile. "It's ok. I have a younger brother." I say.

"Us to!" Max says. I smile even more.

"Mum this mission is going to be harder than I thought!" I yell as I walk in.

"Why?" She asks me. "Max is so freaking cute! I might start getting feelings for him." I say.

"Harper then we all will have to get a different mission." Mum says. "I'll try." I say and sigh. I walk up to my room.
