Chapter 16

                       Harper's pov
                (After roller skating)
"Hey Harper want to come over?" Max asks me as we leave the roller skating rink. "Sure." I say.

"Emily you can come too." Harvey says to her. "Awesome." She says. She seemed a little mad. Do I not know something?

We head to there house. "Hey you guys should spend the night!' Harvey says.

"That would be cool!" I say. "I will text my mom to bring me my stuff."  Emily says. "I'll go to my house." I say.

I walk into my house and run up stairs to my room. I throw some clothes in a bag. "Mom I'm spending the night at the Mill's." I say as I walk out the front door.

I walk to Max and Harvey's house. I knock on the door. No one answers. "Weird." I think to myself.

I turn the door knob. The door opens. "Now this is getting weirder." I think. I walk up the stairs and go to Max and Harvey's room.

"Hel-" I feel something hit my head. Then everything goes black.

I wake up in a dark room with ropes tying me down to a chair. "What?" I say. But it comes out as "Mhh." Because I have a cloth over my face. 

"I see your awake now." A voice says as I hear a door shut. "I know that voice." I think to myself. The lights come on out of no where.

I close them from the brightness. I open them. "Emily!" I try to say. "Oh you finally figured it out!" She says.

She unties the cloth it drops to the floor. "You." I say. She slaps me. "Shut up you slut." She says to me.

"I only untied it so you can stay alive for another 60 seconds." She tells me. "Why?" I ask. 

"Because I want to tell you the Vortex's new plan. Agent 2176." She spits in my face. "What are you talking about?" I lie. 

She slaps me again. This one is harder and leaves a bright red mark."You know exactly what I'm talking about!" she shouts.

She calms herself down. "Anyways. The new plan is for Harvey to fall in love with me. I will make them be on the Vortex and they will go though with the second part of the plan." She says.

"Witch is?' I ask. She slaps me again way harder them the first two.

"I told you to shut up!" She yells. I decided to just be quite. Even though I could take hundreds of her punches.

"I did not finish. After they swear not to tell anyone about anything everything will go on. They will become more popular. Me and Harvey will continue dating. You and your family will be killed. They when Max and Harvey have over a 10 million fans they will send out a message saying that they are going on tour." She says.

"But the tour really is the Vortex kidnapping them. They will continue kidnapping till they have everyone in the world. Then they will establish the new laws and the Vortex will rule!" She says.

"Dumb plan." I think to myself. "Oh by the way I have some company for you." She says. She walks back over to the light switch.

She turns the light back on and a light shines on everyone of the Mills, and my family. I look at Emily she smirking.

I look over at Max. He is looking at me with anger and sadness. "Have fun!"
