[Alfred's Point of View]

I stare at Natalya in shock. How could she?! She turned on me just like that! Natalya throws back my phone at me, and I can see she's upset. I'm in shock... Why? What did Yao say?! I look down at the ground.

"I hope you're happy, Jones." Natalya said, not making eye contact with me. "You crushed my brothers heart. Don't bother coming to our house anymore, you're not wanted here." Natalya walks away and goes back inside to her house.

I clench my fist.

"I-Idiot..."

[Ivan's Point of View]

I'm in tears, I knew it was a joke, I fucking knew it... He mocked my feelings for him, it's not even that funny of a joke. I knew it was a prank, he wouldn't just say it right like that... I wipe my eyes and sit up. I dial Natalya to come pick me up, I just want to forget this... All of it.

I see a car pull up in Yao's driveway, I open the car door and go in. I don't make eye contact with her or say anything. I'm just disappointed in myself. As soon as we get home, I make a phone call with the school, saying I'm not going to be applying there anymore. They understand my reason completely. Thank god, I don't want to be around Alfred anymore. Never again. I lock myself in my room and delete all of Alfred's information. Phone number, email, social media, etc. I don't want to even hear his name. I write a note to Natalya:

"Natalya and whoever else reads this note,

I'm not going to be here anymore... Why you may ask? I'm joining the military, that's why. I got a phone call after the... Incident and I want to do it. I'm sorry if I don't come back. But that's what has to be done.

Please, don't forget about me..."

-- Ivan Braginsky

[Natalya's Point of View]

The next morning I woke up, Ivan was gone, but all was left was a note. I read it and I burst into tears, this cannot be happening... Not again. I can't lose another family member! I drive to school, with the note in my purse, I pull into my parking spot and walk into the building. I look around for Alfred, and he's with his group of friends: Arthur, Francis, Yao and Matthew. I walk up to Alfred and go into the middle of the circle. I bring my hand back and slap him right across the face. Everyone stops and stares at me. I don't give a single damn. I throw the note at Alfred.

"I hope you are happy," I said and ran away, tears streaming down my face.

[Alfred's Point of View]

After Natalya's outburst, I look at the note. My eyes widen as I read it.

I keep reading the last words over and over again.

"Please don't forget about me..."

I'm so sorry, Ivan... I didn't mean to hurt you...

He's a goner...
