Everyday we get up, catch flies by the pond, get chased by some sort of animal, cattch flies, sleep, catch flies, and sleep some more. Other than that, there is no point to life. As a human-has-been, I'm more relunctant to get used to this life. I had the girl of my dreams and when I swept her off her feet, it was amazing. Now I am a frog. Forever. And it sucks.
Don't get me wrong, but I have a love-hate relationship with life. It's annoying. But whatever. Anyways. This time of year, us frogs migrate, because in our "clan" thing, they migrate every year, unlike other frogs. We are Norwegion-Missouri Dove Doodles. They are quite uncommon. This year, I think I will stay back, though. I have a lot of life to get back to and the only way to break the spell is to marry a frog. First off, I don't want to break the girl's poor heart by becoming human, and secondly, these frogs do not do rituals like humans. This will never work. But I better start on my mission.
The other side of the pond is so far away. Probably twenty to thirty feet. I better start hopping. So many legs above, not enough space for me, trying to weave between people. This doesn't work. I start croaking. "MOVE IT PEOPLE! I WAS A PERSON. SHUT UP. I KNOW YOU CAN'T HEAR THESE WORDS FROM ME. I GET IT. YEAH YEAH CROAK CROAK" I send a peircing scream into the frosty October air that surrounds me. Of course, no one move a muscle of uncertainty. Everyone goes on with life. That's until a little girl comes along. She's cute and young. Probably three or four. And she is giggling.
