I sat near my father at the corner of the table. He asked me all sorts of questions. Is this really what fathers are like?
"Deminia, why were you crying when Ghirahim found you?" He asked me. I put on a sad face and remembered fierce.
"I lived up with Hylia and Fierce Deity for the past few months. Then, Hylia found out I was your daughter and Fierce pushed me off the edge and I came crashing down..." I answered, my voice soft spoken but understandable.
"I see. I am so sorry that I couldn't get you earlier. I can't exactly reach up into the heavens. I could'be saved you from heartbreak."
"No, it's just fine, Father. Things happen for a reason." I smile. He smiled at the fact I called him father. That seemed to lift his spirits. We all continued to eat. I chatted with Ghirahim about all sorts of things. He was a really funny guy when he wasn't trying to be formal. He did this weird tongue thing a lot... It was rather amusing.
I began to smile more. Soon, we finished dinner. Ghirahim was told to escort me to my room for the night.
I went into my room and kissed Ghirahim's cheek in a good night and rather admirational way. He cleared his throat, a soft blush dusting his cheeks.
"Good night, Princess." He stated and left to go back down the hall. I closed my door and the maid came in and helped me with my clothing removal. I removed the dress but she had to help me with the corset.
"Thank you." I smiled. "I forgot to ask for your name."
"No need for you to know my name, Princess."
"Please, it makes it easier for me to be friends with someone." She seemed shocked at the word friends. She sighed softly.
"My name is Pogona." She smiled.
"Pleasure to meet you, Miss Pogona." I smiled back.
She began to usher me into the bathroom. I stripped down to nothing and washed myself, despite Pogona's protests.
I got out of the tub and dried off.
"I believe Lord Ghirahim may have a thing for you, Princess."
