Jess felt the bullets bounce and crack the thick wooden shield guarding her as she vaulted it forward into the officers figure, knocking the bulkier man backwards into the next room which was her office. With an extended leap, Jess locked her eyes on her stunned opponent and caught him in the jaw with a brutal right hook, sending him sailing into the thick wall behind him. Jessica knew not to let up so she rammed into him shoulder first, trying to match brute power with brute power. It was a risky effort she knew but Jess realized she had few other options, this cop was a sinful threat by the name of Nuke, he could change into a raging like hell hound when taking his famous ruby red pill, or change into an agile, equally swift and jolting predator once devouring the sky blue pill. She couldn't let him take those at and cost as each shoulder thrust into his ribs just to contain him began taking more of a toll on her then him at any moment. Nuke let out a chuckle before ending the onslaught with a knee to her ribs and a crushing right elbow into her spine, sending her face first into the floor before grabbing her by the hair, smashing her quite gorgeous face into the unforgiving wall. "Shhhh be quiet dear, it will all be over soon.." He grinned and chortled like a man possessed as he listened to Jessica's screams and groans, readying to puncture her with his hacksaw at the ready when two shots fired out, going straight through the thick head of nuke and protruding through both the eye sockets, dropping him instantly with a thud. As he collapsed, Jess felt a sting of relief and panic as she was clueless to who this silhouetted man was, with the last image she had of consciousness being that musky white skull plastered on his black muscle shirt.
The room was engulfed with a sea of darkness, not accompanied by any sound nor visual for the most part. Cold air hit her pale cheeks as she came to slowly but realized that she had metal restraints on her ankles and wrists. By the looks of it and from what she learned while being the sciences nerd that she was in High School, it was titanium that made up these cuffs. 'Am I even strong enough to break titanium? Secondly, where the hell am I?' Jess asked herself but upon the self questioning, a bright spotlight clicked on and shone down on her, confirming her theory of the titanium metal. "Jessica Jones, you're probably wondering where you're are." His voice rang out with a cold rasp to it that grated against her ears like sandpaper on bare skin. "Sure why not, and great job showing your house warming manners." She replied with her classic sarcastic snark in her voice, she knew she would have to put her strength to the test if she was going to break out of this. Jess knew she had beyond normal strength but it was nowhere near Hulk or Thor level. If she could have any given strength test, this was going to be it. "No, no quite simply you're in my business but also have a hell of a track record on you. I don't like people who get in my business, but I hate people who cause destruction, murder and pain. You are here to pay for your sins and tonight I'm gonna play God and punish you for them." The man in the skull plastered shirt conveyed as he took a few steps into the spotlight causing the floor boards beneath his feet to creak. 'Come on you bastard, just try me.' Jessica thought in her mind, preparing for anything that this punisher was ready to dish out.
