The plane finally landed and they swift fully made their way out of the airport and towards their car that was waiting for them. Both Kali and Ray began to look for a sign with one of their names on it, well, mostly Kali was looking since Ray still had a slight hangover. Kali scanned her eyes over the crowd searching for some sort of SHEILD agent waiting for them. Suddenly her eyes widened, but only slightly, and a small smile made its way onto her face.
"Phil!" She yelled across the parking lot and began to sprint in his direction, leaving all of the luggage for Ray and Kirsten to take care of. Once Kali finally was close enough to Phil, she sprang up into the air and landed in his arms. Phil slightly grunted but allowed a chuckle to escape his mouth as well. Kali finally let go and took a step back to get a good and hard look at the man standing before her. "I thought that you were dead?" Phil simply smiled and was about to speak, but that was when Ray decided to interrupt him.
"Agent Coulson, back from the dead. Long time no see."
"Ah, and I see you are still drinking away." Phil said with an arched eyebrow, referring to his bad breath and extremely noticeable headache and nausea.
"It was this one time. It was my girlfriend's birthday, honest. Other than that I have been doing really well-Ah!" Ray said as he doubled over in pain while gripping his head. Phil smirked and chuckled once more.
"Hangover, typical." Phil glanced over to his right at a young woman standing next to Ray. She looked to be confused, but was able to hide it quite well. Phil found himself smiling as he began to walk towards the lady. "You must be Miss Lawrence. It's a pleaser to finally meet you. I am Agent Coulson of SHEILD." He said while reaching out his hand for her to shake. Once reality settled in, Kirsten blink a couple times and then immediately stuck her hand out and shook his.
"Sorry, yes, I am Kirsten Lawrence. You have heard of me?"
"Of course I have. Now come, Fury is waiting."

After hours of driving, the group finally made it to the underground SHEILD base. Kirsten slowly followed the group with awestruck written all over her face. Everywhere she turned she saw something completely new and amazing to her eyes. This place was like nothing she'd ever seen. There was so much new technology that Kirsten began to fear that she was still sleeping on the couch with Ray back at her aunt's house.
Kristen sighed at the thought of her aunt. The way they had left things caused her to feel as though they might never forgive each other. She had grown up in that house, and now its doors might be closed to her forever.
"Kirsten." She suddenly spun around and faced the person who had startled her from her thoughts. There stood Kali and Phil, staring at her as if she were a leper in the middle of Jerusalem. Kirsten shook her head and smiled at the two.
"Uh, sorry, I was trying to take all of this in." She continued as she took one last glance around, only to meet their gaze once more. "Sorry, what did you want?" Kali smiled at her strange friend and then decided to continue.
"Phil here will take you to your room. I have things that I need to attend to." Kirsten's eyes widened at the thought of Kali leaving her. Kali took notice to her friends fear and walked up to her, gripping Kirsten's shoulder. "Don't worry, you're in good hands. I will come around shortly to help you decorate, okay." Kirsten smiled and nodded. "Good, see you later then." With that, Kali turned around and walked away, leaving Phil and Kirsten to themselves.
"Well, let's go to your room, Miss Lawrence." Kirsten smiled and proceeded to walk behind the SHEILD agent that was apparently named Phil and, if she heard correctly, he had died previously.
"So, umm, your name is Phil? Please, tell me that I just simply miss heard, but, you...died?" Phil chuckled, but continued to walk, leaving Kirsten to her own thoughts. After a silent and long walk, they finally arrived that their destination.
"Here is your room. An agent will be around shortly to give you further directions, until then, make yourself at home." With that, he spun around and continued on his way. Kirsten sighed and stared at the door in front of her.
Was this really going to be her future? Was this going to be her life from now on? What had she gotten herself into?
Kirsten sighed once more and quickly took a step forward causing the motion censored door to open. She looked cautiously at the strange, but marvelous thing. Everything about this place was new and peculiar to her.
And she loved it!
