I'm Getting ADOPTED

Nicole's pov

I was woken up by someone shaking me. I must have fell asleep. 

" Nicole." I hear. I rubbed my eyes and sat up to see Clair. " Hey Nicole." She was smiling big. 

" I don't want you to leave. I definitely won't get adopted." I told her. Her smile faded a bit. 

" Look you'll get adopted. I promise." She held out her pinky as in saying 'Pinky promise'. I hooked my pinky with her's. 

" Nicole sweetie!" I heard.

" Yes?" I asked. Ms. Cantler opened the door. 

" There's someone here to adopt you." She said. I looked at my pinky the at Clair. She winked. I then gave her a hug. 

" Don't worry Nicole. I'll see you again hopefully." She told me. I pulled back and nodded. 

" Here are you clothes." Ms. Cantler said handing them to me. I took them and put them in my bag. I put Charlie in there too. " Ready?" She asked. I nodded and we all left the room. 

" Nicole!" I heard. I turned my head to see Samantha.

" Samantha!" I yelled and ran over to her. I hugged her waist tightly. She giggled lightly and hugged back. 

" I hear you got adopted." She told me pulling back from the hug. I nodded. " See, told you, you would." She told me. I grew up with her as like a big sister. So i'll definitely miss her.

" I'm gonna miss you." I told her. She smiled.

" I know. I'll miss you too." She said. 

" Come on Nicole your new family is waiting." Ms. Cantler said. I turned to her and nodded.

" You go have fun K. Plus i'm 16, no one will want me. But when I turn 18 i'll be able to get outta here." She told me. I smiled and then went back to Ms. Cantler. We then went down to the center. 

There was a women with orang-ish red hair, freckles, and pretty colored eyes. Then I saw a man with browish black hair, and brown eyes.

" Nicole this is your new mom and dad." She told me. 

" Hi, I'm Mahogany but you can call me mom... or mahogany which ever one." She said. 

" I'm Nicole!" I said a bit too excited. She gave a small, sweet laugh.

" And I'm Jacob... or dad." He told me. I think i'm just gonna say Mahogany and Jacob for right now.

" You ready to go?" Mahogany asked. I nodded. We then walked outside to their car. I got in the back, sat my backpack next to me and buckled up. 

" Um... if you don't mind if I asked. In the backpack is that all the clothes you have?" Jacob asked. I looked at my small backpack.

" Yes." I told him. 

" oh, ok." He said. I kept looking out the window. Soon we pulled up to a big place. A place next to a movie theater. The mall
