Chapter 7

Aria's POV:

Lily was at school, Spencer had picked her up this morning so that meant Ezra and I had a day together. "You're okay" he asked me when he came downstairs. "Yeah I'm fine, the baby is kicking a lot recently but I survived my first pregnancy so I might as well survive this one. God, Lily was the real trouble maker. Even worse than this" I said pointing out the 'real' part. "She was?" "Yeah giving birth to her was like hell..."

FLASHBACK

"Spencer just drive to that freaking hospital." "I am driving Aria, calm down." "I'm not going to give birth in your car. AAAAHHH" A pain went trough my stomach "please Spence, hurry. I want this baby out of me. I NEED it out of me." We drove further and I don't know exactly how many times I had screamed at Spencer, and that while she was pregnant too, but I screamed at her a lot. When we arrived in the hospital, I got sent into a room and after a long talk Spencer was allowed with me. Good, because without her I wouldn't have survived. "Ms. Montgomery, we need to deliver your baby right now or you will lose too much blood is there any father we should contact?" I hesitated for a moment but reality hit me, Ezra had never called me back... "No" I said "can we do this quickly. It's.... AAAAHHH." I screamed in pain. Giving birth lasted longer than I thought it would take. But after an hour or so I held a beautiful baby girl in my arms. I was tired and full of sweat. "What's her name" Spencer asked me. "Lily" I said with no doubt "Lily Spencer Montgomery." A big smile appeared on Spencer's face and she held Lily so I could fall asleep.

"Yeah... it was hard. I got really tired and yeah.." "When is your next appointment" Ezra asked me. "Uhm, next week. It is scheduled during your work time. I asked Lil to come with me." "What did she say?" "Yes of course, I'll pick her up after school." What Ezra didn't know was that I would be 20 weeks pregnant so I could find out the gender.

We cuddled together on the couch. "Do you know how Lily has been doing in school? I have a feeling things are affecting her school things." "I haven't noticed a difference, just that she's been sitting alone sometimes. Taylor has a boyfriend now which she's spending more time with, I think that's bothering her because she knows Taylors friends but she told me once that she thinks they just think of her as Taylor's sidekick" Ezra said. "Oh yeah, Spencer told me something like that." "Don't worry too much okay? You know Lily, she's pretty good on her own." "Yes I know" I said "I just don't want her to feel left out." "I'll keep an eye on her in the school hall ways but I'm sure she is perfectly fine." "Thank you. We need some baby stuff, care to join me in buying them?" "I'd love to go with you" he said with smirk. So we went to the store...

Ezra's POV:

We had just walked into the store and we were peacefully buying some baby stuff when someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around and my eyes met the eyes of Jackie... "Hey" she said in a flirty voice "I haven't seen you in a while." "No you haven't, I went out of town for a while and..." "I missed you" she said putting her arms around my neck. I quickly pushed them away. "I have a girlfriend" I said. "Ezra, look at these tiny shoes" Aria said coming around the corner. She froze when she saw Jackie. Her face quickly turned into a hateful one, which I didn't blame her for because I hate Jackie too. "I see your pregnancy test came out positive" Jackie said staring at Aria. "Yes, she's pregnant and I'm the father... again." "How can you love your so called daughter when you've only just met her." "I guess that's true love Jackie. Something you will never understand" I said "if you excuse me, Aria and I have to do more shopping today." I wrapped my arms around Aria's waist and we walked further into the shop.

Aria's POV:

It's been a week since we met Jackie in the store and today I had an appointment to find out the gender of the baby. After picking Lily up from school we went to the hospital.

"Aria Montgomery" the doctor said, to my surprise it wasn't my usual doctor, in fact it was a woman. Lily and I stood up and we both walked after her. "Hey, I'm doctor Wilkins but you can call me Anne. Doctor Collins had another appointment and he couldn't reschedule." "Okay, that's totally fine" I said "I'm Aria and this is my daughter Lily." "Nice to meet you both! So you're 20 weeks now, which means we could find out the gender. I first need to ask you if you want to know it so do you want to know if this baby is a boy or a girl." "Yeah, I want to know" I said smiling at Lily. "That's great! Aria" she said walking to the kind of bed "if you could lay down here." We walked after her and I laid down on the bed.

"How old are you Lily" the doctor asked her. "I'm 14." "Are you exited to get a little brother or sister?" "Yes. I hope it's a girl, not that I mind having a brother because I just like to get a younger sibling but a girl would be nice" she stopped and looked at me "I'm blabbing again right?" I nodded. "Sorry." "Well you can get the pink out because it's going to be a baby girl" she said. Lily smiled at me, I think I've never seen her look prouder than this moment.

After the appointment Lily and I talked in the car. "You really like having a little sister" I asked. "Yes mom" she said "I love it." "Okay good because..." "Mom, stop. I know you're going to tell me a whole story about me being old and bla bla bla but really I don't care I'm going to get a baby sister, I have a mother and a father who love each other endlessly. What could I ever wish more?" I smiled at her, because even though she was just 14 and I still remember my small little baby girl. She was really mature and smart at the same time. "Well on the other hand" I said starting the car "how are we going to tell your dad?" "Oohhh!!! We need to make this real big cool thing that you always see in movies and all. They have like one big surprise party and then they reveal the gender! We should do that mom. I'm sure aunt Spencer will help, and maybe if you ask them aunt Hanna, aunt Emily and aunt Alison will help too. I know you haven't talked to them for a very long time but..." This time I interrupted her "Lily calm down. We'll figure something out but I do agree with you, we need to make it big. You're in?" "Of course I am!"
