Aria's POV:
"Lil? Spencer is going to pick you up in a few minutes. Are you ready?" "Yes, I'm coming." I heard her go down the stairs. "Oh, I forgot to say yesterday but Mr. Fitz said he'd like to see you again. I don't know why but I guess he liked you as a student, I got to go that's aunt Spencer. You will pick me up after school right? So we can pick out dinner together." "Yep, I will. Have a nice day honey." She walked to Spencer's car and sat next to Taylor. I waved at them before I went back inside to collect my own stuff for work.
Lily's POV:
"Okay, look Lil" Taylor said as soon as I stepped into the car " you have to see this." She opened her Instagram and scrolled through her feed. "Mr. Fitz has Instagram! What a cool dude." "What? That's him? Oh my gosh, what's his name" I asked Taylor. "Here." She showed me the name. "Why do you follow him?" "Because he's awesome" Taylor said "and because my mom and dad knew him he comes over sometimes. He's still single, maybe we can talk your mom into seeing him?" "My mom" I said "she hasn't date any guy since I was born. Besides, he was her teacher hell no she's going to get into a relationship with him." "Maybe we can set up a date" aunt Spencer said "you have amazing ideas Tay!" "Thanks mom!" "I don't really think my mom is interested... I don't know. She wanted to come back her but I haven't seen her smile one single time." "She will be fine" aunt Spencer said "don't worry too much about it okay? Your mom has some complicated memories from here.... We're here, have fun girls!" Taylor and I said our goodbyes and we walked towards the school again. On our way we met up with Tate. She was with another girl that I didn't recognize. "Hey Tay, Hey Lily" Tate said. "Hey" we said back. "This is Emma Rivers, Taylor you know her right?" "Yeah. Lily, Emma is the daughter of Hanna and Caleb Rivers. Hanna was a friend of our moms." "Okay, hi I'm Lily Montgomery" I said. "Hi."
Aria's POV:
I picked up my bags and drove to my work, it was a 30 minute ride with the car. When I arrived at work I immediately began to write further with my new book, it actually was about my life... About Ezra being the father of my child and he doesn't know. I don't use our names though. If I did that I would be really crazy but I did use our story line...
Lily's POV:
School was over and I was waiting for my mom to pick me up. Taylor was waiting too, we sat outside. "We should really do that for your mom." "I don't think that's a good idea" I said "my mom is really bad with dates and boys... I wish she would talk about my dad more, I just know he has brown hair and blue eyes... and that he lived in Rosewood. Do you really think your mom doesn't know?" "Of course not, they're best friends. My mom for sure knows who it is... They're just not telling us and I don't know why." Right at that moment her mom stopped in front of us. "Bye Lily, see ya" Taylor said. "Yeah bye." "You wanna go with us" aunt Spencer said. "No, my mom is picking me up after work. She will be here anytime. Bye!" So there I sat alone in front of school, waiting for my mom to pick me up. I could walk but that would take me 20 minutes... Even though Rosewood is a small town, we happen to live on the other side of my school. "Hi Lily, still waiting?" "Yeah, my mom is going to pick me up. She just needs to come out of her work." "Can I wait with you" he said pointing to the seat next to me where Taylor had sat before. "Yeah sure." I moved my bag and he sat next to me. "What kind of work does your mom?" "Oh she writes and publishes books" I said. "Really? I knew she could do those kind of things. She was always good in writing." "Mr. Fitz, can I ask you something?" "You're already asking me." "Yeah I mean besides that." We both laughed. "Yeah sure, anything." "Do know you any brown haired and blue eyed boy that was in my mom's class and... like they were dating?" "No why" he said. "Oh nothing, I just..." My phone buzzed.
Sorry Hun, can't pick you up... I need to do some more things at work, we'll get some take out tonight. Love you
"Crap" I said "I got to go." "Your mom isn't here yet." "She won't come, she's working late... but I need to walk so it will take me longer. Bye Mr. Fitz, thanks for waiting with me" I said as I picked up my bag. "I can bring you home" he said. "Isn't that weird? Like you bringing a student home?" "I brought Taylor home sometimes. It's only weird if we make it weird but you know, I know your mom so... it will be okay." "Okay." So I stepped into his car and he brought me home.
Ezra's POV:
I drove to the place Lily had put into my navigation system. "We're here" I said. "Thank you for bringing me home." "No problem." "I'll see you in class Mr. Fitz" she said as she got out of the car and waved at me. "After school hours I'm just Ezra okay?" "Okay, well bye... Ezra" she said awkwardly. "Bye Lily" I sighed as I watched her go into the house. How much I've wished to see Aria again today... I know we broke up in a weird way and all but she could at least talk to me. I had a strong feeling she was hiding something from me. I started my car again and drove to my own house which wasn't that far away from Aria's. I went into it and just sat on my couch for a while, then I picked up an old photo from Aria and I... I still regret not letting her in that day, it looked like she needed to tell me something but I couldn't let her in. There was someone in my apartment and I was sure Aria would think the wrong things. I regret giving her up because some stupid ex told me to... My phone buzzed
One of you better get some fire on his ass. If Aria isn't going to talk to you, you will talk to her. You guys NEED to talk things out... - Spencer
