R O S A

I woke up to shouting, and not your usual mumbling and arguing, I knew this voice and I knew who it was.

I sat up from my bed, fixing my hood and hay before jogging towards what sounded like two men shouting.

I was distracted for only a second before I rammed my shoulder into someone on accident.

I looked up, the sun shining on my face from a window.

I turned away from T-Bag as his eyes became wide, I tried to walk away but he grabbed my wrist with his only hand.

I gasped as I turned quickly, "What the hell are you doing here, pretty?" He spoke lowly, totally dumbfounded as to why I was here.

"Theodore, please." I begged quietly, my eyes pleading with him.

"I'll explain everything, just don't tell anyone. Don't tell Michael." I said with my hand trembling, his grip loosened as his eyes softened.

He must have some kind of heart as he gave me a single nod and let go of me.

I gave him a small nod before I started going towards the commotion again.

I reached the yard to see another fight was about to erupt, I got a glimpse of one of Lecharo's men pacing in the circle of men, but I couldn't quite see his opponent.

I ran around to a different side of the circle, only to see Michael being pushed around in the ring, he tried to leave but they blocked him in, telling them to fight to the death.

I breathed heavily as I walked closer, watching the large man swing at Michael, who dodged it twice before getting punched in the face once.

His cheekbone started to bleed as he almost fell over from the blow, but then he stood back up.

Michael looked around the crowd, I looked down so he wouldn't see my eyes.

I looked up to see the man pop a blade from his pocket, I gasped before Mahone stepped in quickly, grabbing the man's head and twisting it swiftly as it cracked.

I covered my mouth as the man fell to the dirt, the crowd went silent as Mahone panted from killing a man with his bare hands.

"He cheated." Mahone simply stated pointing towards the knife in the man's hand.

I looked over at Michael who held his jaw, he was staring at the hoodie I wore over my underfed body.

I turned quickly, ducking through the crowd before I reached the building.

Michael hollered for me to wait, or stop. But I didn't, I kept running around.

That was until I felt someone grab my bruised wrist, I winced as I was pushed against a wall in a dimly lighted hallway near the basement, so it was pretty desolate.

"Where the hell did you get this?" Michael asked as he looked at the Fox River symbol on the sleeve.

I kept my head down as he asked me a few more times where I got it from, "Where did you find this?" He asked squeezing my small arms.

I finally gave in as I looked up at him, "You gave it to me." I spoke softly as our eyes met.

His hardened face completely softened as his grip loosened, his lips parted in shock.

"You- you were dead." He stammered.

"Michael, I-I'll explain everything." I said taking his face in my hands gently, his eyes closed at my touch, "But we can't talk here." I whispered as I gently took his hand in mine, I pulled my husband gently, letting him have a minute to let all this sink in.

I took him down in an old room close to the locked basement door, I turned the light on before closing the door gently.

Old, rusty bed frames crowded most of the room.

I turned towards him and breathed deeply, I slightly smiled as I slipped my hood off my head.

He put his hand over his mouth as he stepped away only for a minute, he leaned against a wall before sliding down, sitting on the ground.

I walked over slowly and crouched down in front of him.

"Michael, hey, hey. I'm okay." I spoke softly as I tipped his chin so he faced me.

He gently took my hand and just held it as he started to cry, "Y-You were gone." He breathed, I sat next to him, pulling him close to me as he broke down.

I carefully wiped the blood on Michael's cheek, where he was punched just a few hours ago.

I explained everything, from being kidnapped to Susan faking my death, and about how if we were seen talking, LJ would actually die.

"Do me a favor, Rosa." Michael said as I stopped cleaning his cut, "Anything." I lightly smiled.

"Please, stop dying." He joked and my smile grew before I chuckled and glanced at the ground.

"Deal." I smiled up at Michael, he slightly smiled and I breathed deeply, enjoying seeing that little smirk he does.
