Chapter 4 ; The Twinkle of Darkness

" Blake, is that you?" I said. It was more of a whisper. My whole body hurt. " Hey, you don't look too pretty hun." said Blake. I put a little smile. " I guess." I said, closing my eyes. " Here, I can heal you." she said, almost like she put some spell on me, I felt my body start to feel better slowly. " That should be enough, I can't put all of my magic on you." She put her hand down, opening it for me. I grabbed her hand and help me up. " Requip, myrtenaster." Blake whispered. I turned around and noticed she was wearing a dress, and she was holding a pointy weapon. " Right, its mine turn! Requip Lighting Sword Number 2." I said. 

Time to give it my all

" Ready, when I say go, all the ice will break, if you really want to fight, you should but I'm warning you to stay back." she said. " As if. " I remark. " Ready, set , GO" I saw the shatter of ice. I ran to one of the Grimm. " You can do this." I thought to myself. " Lightning Charm!" a blast of lightning shot out my the tip of my sword. The Grimm bear dodged it an d ran toward me. I duck, but right when it almost got on top of me, I slashed my sword and I rolled away. I turned and saw 3 looking at me. I saw Blake trying to deal with 2. Honestly it was amazing, how fast she moved, her swift magic. " Wait Emily think!"  I lifted my sword. " Come get it." 

"How can I kill all these bears?" 

I quickly ran to Blake, trying to my best to avoid the Grimm. I rolled over . We hit back to back. I turned to look at her. She looked like she was doing some sort of enchantment. It was a snowflake like design on top of her sword. She did sparkled something on her body. I turned around and saw the 3 Grimm coming closer toward us.  I looked back at Blake. She twisted the body of her sword. It turned red. Stay back.  She slid toward a grimm. SLID. I looked, the snowflake thing was under her, almost giving her the ability to float. She put her sword down and it created a line of fire, she jumped to the tree behind the grimm. All of a sudden it had white vines on her sword. She jumped closer to the Grimm and there. It sliced in half in perfection. She landed down.  " Emily watch out. !" she yelled. 

Huh?

I tottally forgot the 3 other Grimm, she ran to me and pushed me out of the way. " NO BLAKE." One of the bears claws ripped half of her top.  She looked down at it and her eyes widen. I don't know how I didn't notice it but Blake was really top heavy. Like really top heavy. I looked down at me own, flat a wooden plank. I looked back up and saw the other 3 sliced in half. I gasped. How? She was bent down, so she stood back up. 

Only one more left.

I looked for the last bear. " Wait , where did it go?" she asked. " I don't know , guess it was too scared." I said smiling.  Blake's clothes went back to normal , with her sword disappering. 

We sat down at a log. " Blake, how did you find me when I got attacked?" I asked, looking down at my feet. " Well, I couldn't leave you hanging, I followed your scent." she said, looking up onto the sky.  " You have really cool magic." I said.  She looked at me and I looked back at her. " Thank you." she smiled and blushed. " Can you explain to me your magic?" I asked. " Oh sure . Well of course I use Dragon Slayer magic. I'm a Water/ Ice Dragon Slayer magic, which let me heal you. I also use swords and stuff like that. Each requip gives me a special perk. Like one can make me super fast, one can give me polarity and as you saw, glyphs." " Glyphs?" " Glyphs are those snowflake thing's you saw. It acts almost like a surface, so you can float on kinda, glide. It also can do many other things that are soon to find out."she explained.  I smiled. It was getting hind of dark. " By the way, I wanted the bears in 1 piece, but I guess now is okay." I laughed. It was okay. I put my hands over her, no homo but you know what I mean.

It turned dark. I looked up in the glittery beautiful sky. The stars twinkled , how could you not smile? It is a beautiful and delightful sight to behold the body of the Moon. " Blake, hurry and get the fire ready!" I yelled. We didn't have any sleeping bags so we mae little beds out of like soft leaves and stuff like that. Blake started the fire and we both gleemed. " We snuggled up , we were tired, very tired. Quickly we fell asleep.

3 hours into the night

~Blake's P.O.V.~

It was a blink of night. A quiet time. We were both asleep, unaware of what was surrounding us.

" I think it's time!" said one.

" Did you see the girl fight? She could last us a year!" said another

" Make sure to stay on task ." 

" Roger."

Step , step , step, the sounds of their soft foot steps. Who knew how many of them they were. I felt a tingle. A weird feeling in my gut that woke me up.  I felt a mass of magic energy near me.  I heard a bustle of wind , I opened my eyes and looked wide, a sword swinging to me, I closed my eyes, waiting for my time of death, but nothing happened but a gasp. I opened my eyes to the sword, there is was, my shining black aura, protecting me from evil. I put a smirk on my face, that when I realized it, Emily didn't have an aura! "REQUIP" I swoosh my sword into the face and i barely it it. I quickly jumped up and landed 1 foot on my knee. I looked over and saw 2 men, about to kill Emily. I quickly ran over and kicked both of the guys, grabbing Emily. She woke up. Her green eyes stared into my soul, I was looking at the 5 men, about to maybe kill me. No, giving up wasn't a option. Not in this situation. " Blake?" I put her down, she quickly relized what was going on. " Requip, Lightning Sword number 3." she said, a long yellowish sword appeared. " Stay back." All the men smiled, making me worried. " REQUIP!" I yelled. " Blades, DANCE!" I ordered. I watched as my swords, almost as feathers, went straight to their heads. It hit one of them, killed them. The others managed to dodge it, I moved my hand, making them aim for the others, they dodged, you can assume they were well taught. " Come back!" I ordered my blades. " WHEEL OF HEAVEN" The blades formed into a circle, circling , forming a magic ball . BAMN! t exploded. I felt a rush, rush of energy. Doing this helps me figure that the weakness of my enemies, allowing me to find out what requip and type of magic to use against them. Finally , I remembered what I needed to do. " Requip, Dragon Slayer Form."
