she saw the destruction hidden inside,
I hated words because
I saw their curse.They didn't have a
shape, and their size,
no one knew.
Some had colors, and
you could see them too.
But they held a strange
power that no magic could conjure,
for,
they were the seed that destroyed
the forest.They bought gifts you
could never buy, but
with it came a price,
chaos you could never rid,
for it rested 'neath your skin.They could turn happiness
to despair, create your
friends into strangers,
but most of all,
make your greatest enemy
yourself.Its true they say that
words cut deeper than
any blade.But didn't you know?
